Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung der Entschwefelung eines olefin- und wasserstoffhaltigen Einsatzstromes. Dieses kann mit weiterem Wasserstoff vermischt werden und wird in mindestens zwei Einsatzströme geteilt. Der erste Einsatzstrom wird separat in den Reaktor eingeführt und trifft auf ein erstes Katalysatorbett, das die Katalysatorpellets auf einer geeigneten Haltevorrichtung oder einem Gitterrost enthält. Dort heizt sich der Einsatzstrom durch die Hydrierungsreaktion auf. Hinter dem ersten Katalysatorbett wird weiteres Einsatzstrom zugeleitet, wodurch sich das Reaktionsgas abkühlt und dadurch durch ein zweites Katalysatorbett geleitet werden kann. Hinter dem zweiten Katalysatorbett können sich weitere Katalysatorbetten und weitere Einsatzstromzuführungseinrichtungen befinden. Die Katalysatorbetten können im Reaktor in beliebiger Zahl, Art und Form angebracht werden. Durch diese Reaktionsführung enthält man ein Produktgas, das im Wesentlichen nur noch Schwefelwasserstoff als Schwefelverbindung enthält. Die Temperatur in den Katalysatorbetten und dem Gasstrom wird über den Anteil des Olefins in den Einsatzströmen geregelt. Je höher der Olefinanteil in einem Einsatzstrom ist, desto stärker heizt sich der Gasstrom durch die Hydrierungswärme im nachfolgenden Katalysatorbett auf.
