Description

VEH ICULE A DOSSI ER D E SI EG E ESCAMOTABLE CONTRE UN OUVRANT D E COFFRE VEH ICULE WITH RECOVERY FOLDER AGAINST A SAFE OPENER
The invention relates to the field of vehicles with foldable seat back against a boot lid. It is advantageous to retract the back of a seat against the opening of the trunk especially when the vehicle does not have sufficient available storage space under the floor and we want to optimize the available volume in the space of storage. According to a prior art, for example described in the German patent application DE 4406651, it is known a retractable backrest connected to the hinge of a boot lid so as to allow the retraction of the folder against the boot lid . The invention notes that the connection between the backrest and the hinge does not allow any inclination of the seat back around the bottom of the folder. This has the disadvantage of either insufficient comfort in the use of the seat because of the single inclination position available, or the need for the addition of another additional system, probably complex and expensive , to ensure the inclination of the backrest around the bottom of the file despite the presence of a rigid connection. The invention proposes a retractable seat back mechanism against the boot lid while allowing easy reclining of the seat back. For this, the invention has chosen to structure the joint so that it allows the folder to be able to tilt around the bottom of the folder, when the folder is in use position. According to the invention, there is provided a vehicle comprising a boot lid and at least one seat whose backrest is retractable against the boot lid, characterized in that it also comprises at least one articulation between the backrest and the boot lid, arranged in such a way that different positions of the hinge correspond to different inclinations of the backrest around the bottom of the backrest in the non-retracted position. The distance between the attachment point of the hinge on the top of the backrest and the attachment point of the articula lation on the boot lid varies depending on the inclination of the backrest. A joint is a connecting element between two parts moving relative to each other. The articulation connects the backrest to the chest opening.
The non-retracted position is the position of use of the seat in which an occupant can sit in the seat. The transient positions, whether stable or not, between the use position and the retracted position, are partially retracted positions, distinct from both the retracted position and the non-retracted position. The non-retracted position is the non-retracted position of the backrest which is also the non-retracted position of the backrest. Different inclinations of the backrest around the bottom of the backrest means that from one inclination to another, it is rather the top of the backrest that moves around the bottom of the backrest that does not move or little. The bottom of the backrest preferably comprises at least one stationary point in the non-retracted position but not necessarily. In other words, we can consider that there is a pivot axis located in the bottom of the folder and around which the top of the back tends to rotate, but that this pivot axis is not necessarily immobile but can move a little, and in any case in the case where the top and the bottom of the file move, it is the top which moves sufficiently more than the bottom, so that the top of file can be considered as I turn around the bottom of file .
A boot lid is an opening allowing access to the trunk of the vehicle from the rear of the vehicle. This boot lid is located at the rear of the vehicle. The backrest is preferably separated from the seat, at least when the backrest is in the retracted position. To retract the seat with the back against the opening of the trunk would reduce the length of the available loading space. Preferably, the hinge is disposed between the top of the backrest and the boot lid. As the file is rather inclined backwards when in the non-retracted position, it allows to limit the size of the joint, for the same range of movement of the folder. Preferably, the boot lid comprises a structure located below a glazing unit and the hinge connects the top of the backrest to said structure. Thus, the view through the glazing of the boot opening, which is for example a rear window, remains clear. The arrangement of the joint allows it to avoid obscuring part of this view. The structure and glazing are part of the boot lid. The structure is opaque. The structure is for example metal, and or fiberglass, and or hard plastic. Advantageously, the joint connects the top of the folder to the top of said structure. The top of the structure is a side cross, going from one side to the other of the vehicle and stiffening the boot opening, especially to better withstand a shock. This location allows the backrest to be attached to a particularly resistant location of the boot lid, which place will have to bear a significant share of the weight of the folder when the opening will be fully open. Preferably, the articulation connecting the top of the backrest to said structure is permanently fixed both at the top of the backrest and said structure. This makes it possible both to ensure a great deal of manufacturing flexibility and greater robustness in the event of impact than elements that could be retractable or dismountable, since these are always more fragile. Preferably, in the non-retracted position, the backrest tilts around the bottom of the backrest by pivoting about an axis which is located in the bottom of the backrest and which is reversibly secured to the seat cushion in the non-retracted position. . The backrest is secured to the seat with which it constitutes a seat in which an occupant can sit in it. In a non-preferred alternative, the backrest could be secured directly to the floor of the vehicle, the bottom of the backrest bearing against the rear of the seat. The backrest is advantageously secured to the seat rather than to the floor, as this provides a better compromise between the robustness and simplicity of the seat. The backrest is secured to the seat seat reversibly so as to provide a possibility of separate retraction of the backrest and the seat, which is more convenient. To improve the robustness of the seat, particularly in the event of impact, securing is followed by locking of this non-retracted position in which the backrest is secured to the seat. Advantageously, the bottom of the file is secured to the seat of the seat by a system of striker and bolt. This system has the advantage of being so mple and robust. Preferably, the strike is disposed on the seat while the bolt is disposed on the backrest. Thus, it is easier to achieve a good compromise between the thickness of the backrest which must be as low as possible and the best comfort of the occupant in a sitting position which requires increasing the thickness of the file especially if it includes rigid parts such as a strike that must be removed from the seating position of the occupant of the seat. Preferably, it is the same striker or a keeper so milaire which is is in the opening of trunk to cooperate with the bolt of the file, when the file will be in retracted position. At the level of the fastening system of the bottom of the backrest with the bottom of the boot lid, it is a solidarity without locking, because the safety requirement in terms of robustness is then not the same as for a seat in position of use by a sitting occupant. Preferably, the seat of the seat is retractable. Thus, this retractable character of the seat cushion also makes it possible to improve the volume available for the cargo space. Advantageously, the seat of the seat is retractable under the floor of the vehicle, which allows on the one hand a flat loading floor, and which also avoids reducing the length of the loading space com me in the system of the prior art where the seat is retractable against the back of the front seat. Advantageously, the seat of the seat is retractable under the floor of the vehicle in the housing of the spare wheel. This housing contains a spare wheel type pancake, which saves space. Indeed, once the wafer placed in the spare wheel housing, the space still available has a height li mitée which is sufficient to accommodate the thickness of a seat cushion but insufficient to accommodate the thickness cu mated d a folded back on a seat.
Preferably, the hinge comprises a set of at least two rods pivotable relative to each other, one can also pivot relative to the backrest, the other can also pivot relative to the opening of chest. Achieving the joint in the form of connecting rods makes the articulation simple and robust. The three pivot axes are parallel to each other. If there were four or more, the four or more pivot axes would be parallel to each other. Other systems are possible, such as for example a worm driven by a micromotor, or a hinge in the form of accordion.
Advantageously, one of the connecting rods comprises a recess and the other connecting rod comprises a protuberance, the recess and the protuberance being arranged opposite to cooperate between them so as to tend to hold the two connecting rods against each other, when the folder is in the retracted position. Thus, the backrest does not tend to fall when the boot lid is in the open position and raised. Moreover, a simple pull of an arm of an occupant is enough to release the joint. Other fastening systems such as snap-fastening or straps are possible, but would be less practical in that they could not be directly integrated into the connecting rods themselves and would require additional elements.
Preferably, the vehicle comprises two said joints between the top of the backrest and the trunk opening, respectively located on each side of the backrest. Thus, in case of impact, it prevents the joint is found in cantilever compared to the seat back.
L'invention va maintenant être décrite plus en détail à l'aide des figures ci-après, données à titre d'exemples illustratifs et non limitatifs, où :Preferably, the vehicle comprises a seat of two seats whose backrest is retractable against the boot lid, and one or more of said joints between the top of the backrest and the boot lid. Other configurations are possible, such as for example a row of two or three independent seats retractable against the boot lid, or as a seat of three seats whose common backrest is retractable against the boot lid. Preferably, the seat or seats of this row of seats with retractable backrest against the opening of the trunk, belong to a row of seats of rank three, that is to say that there are two other rows of seats which are located in front of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. A vehicle includes a truck, a van, a van, a car, a bus, a minibus. A vehicle is preferably a motor vehicle, preferably terrestrial. A vehicle is preferably a car. The invention will now be described in more detail using the following figures, given by way of illustrative and nonlimiting examples, in which:
- la figure 1 représente schématiquement une vue de profil d'un exemple de véhicule selon l'invention , le dossier de siège étant en position non escamotée, avec une inclinaison intermédiaire ;- Figure 1 shows schematically a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with an intermediate inclination;
- la figure 2 représente schématiquement une vue de profil d'un exemple de véhicule selon l'invention , le dossier de siège étant en position escamotée ;- Figure 2 schematically shows a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the retracted position;
- la figure 3 représente schématiquement une vue de profil d'un exemple de véhicule selon l'invention , le dossier de siège étant en position non escamotée, avec une inclinaison importante ; - la figure 4 représente schématiquement une vue de profil d'un exemple de véhicule selon l'invention , le dossier de siège étant en position non escamotée, avec une inclinaison faible.- Figure 3 schematically shows a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with a large inclination; - Figure 4 schematically shows a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with a slight inclination.
In all figures, the front of the vehicle is on the left and the rear of the vehicle is on the right. For the sake of simplicity, the invention will be described in connection with figures showing only one seat, but the description would be the same or similar for several independent seats or for a seat comprising several seats joined together and secured one to the other or to each other. The XYZ orthonormal mark includes the horizontal X axis, which is the longitudinal axis of the vehicle from the front to the rear of the vehicle, and the vertical Z axis, which is the vehicle 's axis from the bottom to the center of the vehicle. the top of the vehicle. The X axis is also the axis going from the front to the back of the seat while the Z axis is also the axis going from the bottom to the top of the seat. The Y axis is a lateral axis, for the vehicle as for the seat; it is horizontal like the X axis. Unless stated otherwise, for the seat, as for the backrest and for the seat, it will be in the following indifferently spoken position of use or non-retracted position, as opposed to the retracted position. A single series of connecting rods on one side of the seat, both at the backrest and the seat, is shown in the figures for the sake of clarity. There is advantageously another which is symmetrical and which is located on the other side of the seat.
Figure 1 schematically shows a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with an intermediate inclination. Above the loading floor 5, in the passenger compartment 9, is the seat 3 comprising a substantially horizontal seat 2 and a backrest 1 closer to the vertical than the horizontal. The trunk lid 4 separates the trunk 8 from the outside of the vehicle. The cockpit 9 is limited upwards by a roof 7 or vehicle roof. The boot opening 4 allows access to the trunk 8 by pivoting around hinges 70 by which the opening 4 is mechanically attached to the roof 7. Under the loading floor 5, there is a housing 50 of spare wheel.
The seat 2 comprises a striker 20 intended to receive the bolt 17 located at the end of the connecting rod 1 2 opposite the end of the rod 1 2 which is connected to the pivot axis 1 3 of the backrest 1, so as to to secure the backrest 1 to the seat 2 when the seat 3 is in the non-retracted position, that is to say more specifically, when the backrest 1 and the seat 2 are in the non-retracted position. Thus, the seat 3 can be used by an occupant, not shown in Figure 1 for the sake of clarity, which sits on the seat 2 and rests against the backrest 1. Thanks to the securing obtained by the rod 1 2, the seat 3 is overall more robust, especially in case of shock. A front connecting rod 21 connecting the front of the seat 2 to the front of the spare wheel housing 50, and a rear connecting rod 22 connecting the rear of the seat 2 to the rear of the wheel housing 50. emergency, allow to retract the seat 2 in the housing 50 of spare wheel, by simple circular translation. The front link 21 is pivotally mounted both with respect to the seat 2 at one of its ends and relative to the spare wheel housing 50 at its other end. The rear link 22 is also pivotally mounted both with respect to the seat 2 at one of its ends and relative to the spare wheel housing 50 at its other end. The tailgate 4 pivots relative to the roof 7 by means of hinges 70 to open the trunk 8 and allow a user located at the rear of the vehicle to access the trunk 8. The opening 4 comprises in part low a structure 41 opaque and in the upper part a glazing 43 transparent or translucent. The structure 41 comprises in the upper part a cross 42 of reinforcement.
The backrest 1 comprises a pivot axis 1 3 located at the bottom of the backrest around which it can pivot in the non-retracted position, to tilt around the bottom of the backrest, that is to say here around the pivot axis 1 3. This pivot axis 1 3 is secured to the seat by means of a connecting rod 1 2 which remains im movable when the backrest tilts, in the non-retracted position. This pivot axis 1 3 remains here im movable as the seat 3, the seat 2 and the backrest 1, remain in the non-retracted position. But it is possible to consider a backrest angle 1 about a pivot axis 1 3 which itself would have a movement, translation, rectilinear or circular, reduced amplitude. The backrest 1 is permanently connected, whether in the non-retracted position as in FIG. 1 or in the retracted position as in FIG. 2, or in an intermediate position partially retracted (not shown in the figures), at the opening 4 via a hinge 1 9. The articulation January 9 is divided into two rods 1 0 and 11 and three pivot axes, 14, 1 5 and 1 6. The pivot axis 1 4 is the point of attachment of the articulation 1 9 at the top of the folder 1. The pivot axis 1 6 constitutes the point of attachment of the articulation 1 9 to the cross member 42 of the structure 41 of the opening 4. The pivot axis 1 5 is the junction point between the rods 1 0 and 1 1. The rod 1 0 interconnects the pivot axes 14 and 1 5. The connecting rod 1 1 interconnects the pivot axes 1 5 and 1 6. The joint 1 9 can take different positions by closing or opening more or less the angle α whose vertex is the pivot axis 1 5 and whose sides are the rods 1 0 and 1 1. The more the angle α is open, the greater the distance between the pivot axes 14 and 1 6, and the higher the backrest 1 is away from the opening 4. The maximum angle could theoretically go up to 1 80 degrees. The maximum angle is less evil in practice to do too much work the joint in extension. The more the angle α is closed, the smaller the distance between the pivot axes 14 and 16, and the higher the backrest 1 is close to the opening 4. The minimum angle could theoretically go up to 0 degrees. The minimum angle is more useful in practice to do too much work compression joint. The backrest 1 is shown in the retracted position with an intermediate inclination corresponding to an angle α of about 90 degrees. Figure 2 schematically shows a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the retracted position. The articulation 1 9 is in a compressed position, the angle α is very small, the distance between the pivot axes 14 and 1 6 is very small, the backrest 1 is retracted against the opening 4. The backrest 1 is pressed against the cross member 42 of the opening 4. The lower back 1 is pressed against the bottom of the structure 41 of the opening 4. Their joining is performed by a similar cooperation to that described in connection with Figure 1 , on the one hand bolt 17 located at the end of the rod 12 located at the bottom of the backrest 1 and secondly the striker 40 which is an integral part of the structure 41 of the opening 4. In contrast to the locked connection in Figure 1, it n ' This time there is no locking of the fastening because the locking is superfluous. The housing 50 of spare wheel contains in the lower part a pancake 6 and in the upper part the seat 2 in the retracted position also. The wafer 6 has been shown only in FIG. 2 for the sake of clarity; it could however be present also on all the other figures. The cake has for example a height of about 10 cm. 3 schematically represents a side view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with a large inclination. The hinge 19 is in a slightly compressed position, the angle α is relatively small, it is an acute angle, the distance between the pivot axes 14 and 16 is relatively small, the backrest 1 is in the position of use , with a significant inclination towards the rear. The lower back 1 is secured to the seat 2 via the connecting rod 12 and the pivot axis 13, whose respective positions are the same as in Figure 1 which also has a seat position 3 no retracted, and remain the same in Figure 4. Compared to the inclination of the backrest 1 shown in Figure 1, the inclination of the backrest 1 was increased by a rotation of the backrest 1 around the bottom of folder 1, c ' that is to say around the pivot axis 13, in the direction of clockwise. FIG. 4 schematically represents a profile view of an exemplary vehicle according to the invention, the seat backrest being in the non-retracted position, with a slight inclination. The articulation 19 is in an extended position, the angle α is relatively large, it is an obtuse angle, the distance between the pivot axes 14 and 16 is important, the backrest 1 is in the use position, with a slight inclination towards the rear. The lower back 1 is secured to the seat 2 via the connecting rod 12 and the pivot axis 13 as in Figures 1 and 3. With respect to the inclination of the backrest 1 shown in Figure 3 , the inclination of the backrest 1 to the rear has been significantly reduced by a rotation of the backrest 1 about the pivot axis 13, in the counterclockwise direction, to bring the backrest 1 in a more inclined close to the vertical as in Figures 1 and 3.
