Abstract

본 발명은 신규한 박테리오파지에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 병원성 장내세균에 대한 사멸능을 갖고, 서열번호 1로 구성된 아미노산 서열을 코딩하는 추정상 헬리케이즈(Putative helicase) 유전자 서열을 갖는 박테리오파지(Bacteriophage) SS3e에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 상기 박테리오파지를 이용하여 대표적인 식품매개질환을 일으키는 원인균으로서 병원성 장내세균을 효과적으로 사멸시키거나 감소시킬 수 있다. 특히 박테리오파지는 세균을 숙주로 하는 바이러스로 사람과 동물 등에는 전혀 작용하지 않는 것으로 알려져 있기 때문에 의약산업, 식품산업, 생명공학 등에 응용이 가능할 뿐 아니라, 항생제 내성에 대한 문제점 없이 유해 장내세균을 목표장소 또는 목표물질에서 효과적으로 사멸시킬 수 있다.
