- the invention relates to a lighting device with a time-varying lighting function.
- the invention also relates to a method for operating a lighting device.
- Lighting devices often have time-varying lighting functions, i.
- the light emitted by the lighting device is changed in its properties, for example, the color, the brightness or the color temperature of white light, with the passage of time. Depending on the application, this can be done selectively or according to a random or pseudo-random principle.
- LEDs light emitting diodes
- control devices are often used which make it possible, for example, to set a desired color or brightness precisely or to display a defined sequence of colors and / or brightnesses.
- To operate the control devices and thus the lighting device are usually complex controls required borrowed.
- the control device must be constantly in standby, which requires a high energy demand.
- retrofit lamps i. Lamps that are provided to replace conventional incandescent lamps, is also in the lamp no room for a complex control device and / or controls. These lamps are usually used in luminaires which are connected to the general power supply by means of a simple switch which establishes or interrupts the current flow for switching the lighting on or off. Thus, after interrupting the power supply for a control unit no more energy available.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device with a time-varying lighting function, in which the lighting function can be influenced by means of simple means. It is furthermore an object of the invention with regard to the method for operating a lighting device to provide a method with which in a simple manner ne lighting function of the lighting device can be influenced.
- the power supply ie shorter than 2 s, preferably shorter than 1 s, is interrupted, without providing independent controls for it.
- the duration of the interruption must be longer than 25 ms, preferably longer than 50 ms, to trigger a change in the lighting function.
- the temporally variable illumination function comprises a temporally successive emission of light having at least two different wavelengths, it is possible to realize illumination in temporally successive different colors.
- a temporal successive emission of white light having at least two different color temperatures comprises, it is possible to realize a lighting in temporally successive different color temperatures.

- the LED 4 is disabled immediately to save energy.
- either the capacitor 8 can be designed with a smaller capacity or, for a given capacity, the microprocessor 5 can be operated longer.
- the supply voltage U Net z is at input 7 again detected, so that the micro- processor 5 recognizes that only a brief voltage interruption is present and a function change to a function F2 it is asked for.
- the function F2 means that the lighting device 1 continues to illuminate with the color with which it was operated at the time when the supply voltage U Net Z was switched off.
- a minimum time t min is determined for the detection of a desired interruption.
- a time of more than 25 ms, particularly preferably more than 50 ms has proved to be advantageous.
- the time t max is chosen so that on the one hand an operator easily the double circuit on the other hand, the capacity of the capacitor 8 must not be designed to be too large, as this would lead to space problems and increase the manufacturing cost.
- FIG. 3 shows the variables shown in FIG. 2 for the case in which the supply voltage U Net Z is permanently interrupted, for example by means of a light switch or by a power failure.
- a different temporally variable light function may also be present.
- a change in intensity can be made.
- individual colors are emitted for a predefined time in order then suddenly to change to a distinctly different color, which allows the operator to select a very specific color very reliably.
- switch from one color to the next by the brief interruption of the current signal or to switch between two different color gradients, which differ, for example, by a different speed of the color change.
- the existing in the state of delivery light function is activated again.
- the construction of the lighting device 1 may differ from that shown.
- the lighting device 1 does not necessarily have to be designed as a retrofit lamp 1, even if the advantages of the invention are particularly effective here.
- other base and / or piston forms can be used.
- LEDs 4 of other or additional colors such as, for example, amber or white
- organic light-emitting diodes instead of the LED 4, other light sources, such as discharge lamps are possibly conceivable, but is particularly well suited for use in a lighting device according to the invention in LEDs due to the fast response and low power consumption.
