  • VEHICLE SUCH AS A MOWER WITH SUSPENDED TRACKS
  • the present invention relates to a vehicle such as a mower, particularly remotely controlled, that is capable of driving on sloping areas.
  • GB 2230414 discloses a prior art lawn mower with a self-propelled lawn mover which comprises a carriage with a pair of endless tracks. The wheels propelling the tracks are rigidly fastened to the carriage of the lawn mower.
  • a disadvantage of this lawn mower arises when it is driven over sloping areas with varying inclinations.
  • the lawn mower risks piling it self up on e.g. a very small hill as the tracks will loose contact with the ground. However, this will not enable the mower to move on as the carriage will be stuck in the small hill.
