Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une faucheuse (200) pouvant se déplacer sur des terrains pentus. La faucheuse comprend au moins deux chenilles (116, 117), des moyens de coupe (114) positionnés devant les chenilles et dont la largeur couvre au moins en partie les chenilles. Ladite faucheuse est entraînée par au moins un moteur (112) monté fixe entre lesdites chenilles et possède un système de lubrification active. On obtient ainsi une faucheuse étroite dont les moyens de coupe peuvent aller plus près de bords, par exemple d'une pelouse. En outre, du fait que la faucheuse est étroite, les moyens de coupe sont également étroits. De ce fait, la puissance nécessaire du moteur est réduite. En outre, la longueur de la faucheuse est plus importante que la largeur, et de ce fait le risque de basculement vers l'avant ou vers l'arrière est réduit. En outre, la faucheuse peut s'incliner, par exemple lorsqu'on fauche sur des surfaces en pente, et le moteur ne délivrera pas une puissance utile trop faible ou ne risquera pas d'être endommagé en raison d'une lubrification insuffisante. Le moteur n'a pas besoin d'être spécialement mis en suspension, et de ce fait la largeur de la faucheuse est réduite.
