また、種々の目的から、サイドシール部に形成する融着部の形成パターンを工夫したものが種々提案されている。
従来、表面シート、裏面シート及び液保持性の吸収体を備え、腹側部の両側縁部と背側部の両側縁部とを互いに重ね合わせた重合部を融着して形成された一対のサイドシール部を有するパンツ型の吸収性物品が知られている。
また、種々の目的から、サイドシール部に形成する融着部の形成パターンを工夫したものが種々提案されている。
ところで、着用者のウエスト周りは、周長が長く、またその周長が姿勢の変化や呼吸により変動するため、ウエスト周りに当接する部分のクッション性や柔らかさは、装着感に大きく影響する。しかし、特許文献2の衣類は、ウエスト周りの柔らかさや感触に対する配慮が不充分であり、また、前部のシームパネルのシームパネルの外(内)面に背部のシームパネルの内(外)面を重ねて両パネルを接合しているため、製造設備が複雑化する。
また、特許文献3の使い捨ておむつにおいては、おむつを履いたり履かせる際、あるいは着用中に、ウエスト開口部の周縁部を上方から、もしくは側方(肌に対して垂直な方向)から押圧するような力が加わった際に、強接合部が、着用者に違和感を与えたり、着用者や介護者等の肌を刺激する恐れがある。
前記重合部は、ウエスト開口部側の端部に、シートの積層枚数が、該重合部における他の領域よりも多いウエスト端部領域を有しており、前記重合部のウエスト端部領域における腹側部及び背側部それぞれのシートの積層構造が、腹側部の重合部同士間及び背側部の重合部同士間にも延在しており、前記サイドシール部は、前記ウエスト端部領域が融着されて形成されたシール領域における、長手方向の単位長さ当たりの、サイドシール部肌側端部における融着部の合計長さが、該ウエスト端部領域より下方の領域が融着されて形成されたシール領域における同合計長さよりも小さいパンツ型吸収性物品を提供するものである。
前記サイドシール部は、腹側部側の面から押圧されて形成された腹側シールパターンと、背側部側の面から押圧されて形成された背側シールパターンとが異なり、前記腹側又は背側シールパターンは、前記サイドシール部のウエスト開口部側の端部領域におけるシールパターンが、該サイドシール部の他の領域と異なり、前記サイドシール部は、前記端部領域における融着強度が、前記他の領域における融着強度よりも低いパンツ型吸収性物品を提供するものである。
本発明の第1実施形態であるパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1(以下、「おむつ1」ともいう。)は、腹側部Aの両側縁部6a,6aと背側部Bの両側縁部6b,6bとを互いに重ね合わせた重合部7,7を融着して形成された一対のサイドシール部8,8を有している。重合部7,7は、それぞれ、腹側部Aの肌当接面側の面と背側部Bの肌当接面側の面とを合掌状に重ね合わせてなり、それぞれ、着用状態におけるおむつ1の縦方向(上下方向)と同方向に長い形状を有している。腹側部Aは、おむつ1の装着時に、装着者の腹側に配される部位であり、背側部Bは、装着者の背側に配される部位であり、股下部Cは、装着者の股間部に配される部位である。
本実施形態のおむつ1は、図2に示すように、液透過性の表面シート2と、液不透過性又は撥水性の裏面シート3と、両シート2,3間に介在する吸収体4とを有する実質的に縦長の吸収性本体5、及び吸収性本体5の裏面シート側(非肌当接面側)に位置して該吸収性本体5を固定している外包材6を備えている。
複数本のレッグ弾性部材64は、図2に示すように、レッグ開口部LOの周縁部に設けられており、各レッグ弾性部材64は、伸長状態で、レッグ開口部LOの周方向に沿って配設固定されている。
複数本の胴回り部弾性部材65は、図2に示すように、腹側部A及び背側部Bそれぞれにおいて、ウエスト弾性部材63の配置部位と股下部Cの端部との間に配されている。胴回り部弾性部材65は、前記中心線CLの左右両側に分割された状態で、それぞれおむつ1の幅方向に沿って配設固定されている。
折り返し部61aは、図2及び図3(a)に示すように、その長手方向(Y方向)の端縁61a1が、吸収性本体5の長手方向(Y方向)の腹側部A側の端縁よりも股下部C寄りの位置まで延びている。同様に折り返し部61bも、図2及び図3(b)に示すように、その長手方向(Y方向)の端縁61b1が、吸収性本体5の長手方向(Y方向)の背側部B側の端縁よりも股下部C寄りの位置まで延びている。
折り返し部62aは、図2及び図3(a)に示すように、その長手方向(Y方向)の端縁62a1が、ウエスト開口部WOの周縁端Weと、吸収性本体5の腹側部A側の端縁との間の中央部付近まで延びている。同様に折り返し部62bも、図2及び図3(b)に示すように、その長手方向(Y方向)の端縁62b1が、ウエスト開口部WOの周縁端Weと、吸収性本体5の背側部B側の端縁との間の中央部付近まで延びている。
このように、折り返し部62a,62bの長手方向(Y方向)の長さは、折り返し部61a,61bの長手方向(Y方向)の長さよりも短く形成されている。
重合部7のウエスト端部領域71を形成する背側部Bについても同様であり、背側部Bの側縁部6bは、上述したように、外層シート61、内層シート62、折り返し部61b及び折り返し部62bが積層された4層構造〔図3(b)の領域6b1参照〕を有し、この点は、中心線CLの両側の側縁部6b,6bにおいて共通であるが、それに加えて、背側部Bの側縁部6b,6b間に位置する、重合部7を形成しない部分71bにも、シートの積層状態が、前記側縁部6b,6bと同様である領域が連続して存在している。
本実施形態のおむつ1においては、吸収性本体5ないし該本体5を構成するシート材を除外すれば、重合部7の長手方向(Y方向)の全域71~73について、同様の積層構造が、腹側部A及び背側部Bの全幅に亘って連続して存在している。
更に、端部領域においてはその良好な風合い、クッション性の観点から極力接着剤を使用しないことが望ましく、その領域に存在する接着剤の量は0~10g/m2であることが好ましい。接着剤を用いない方法としては、外層シート、内層シートを弾性体の存在しない部位においてヒートシール、超音波シール等、熱によって部分的に融着させること等が挙げられる。
おむつ1におけるサイドシール部8は、図3(c)に示すように、シート積層枚数が8枚のウエスト端部領域71が融着されて形成されたシール領域8a1と、シートの積層枚数が6枚の領域72が融着されて形成されたシール領域8a2と、シートの積層枚数が4枚の領域73が融着されて形成されたシール領域8a3とを有している。シール領域8a1、シール領域8a2及びシール領域8a3には、それぞれ、幅方向(X方向)に延在する複数本の融着部81が形成されている。
図3(c)に示すように、シール領域8a1における融着部81の幅dは、シール領域8a2及びシール領域8a3における融着部81の幅と同じであるが、シール領域8a1の融着部81のピッチPは、シール領域8a2及びシール領域8a3における融着部81のピッチP’よりも広くなっている。
また、図5に示すサイドシール部8のように、サイドシール部8の肌側端部8eに端部が達する融着部81と、サイドシール部8の肌側端部8eに端部が達しない融着部81aとを有する場合、融着部81aは、サイドシール部肌側端部8eにおける長さを有しないものとして取り扱い、肌側端部8eに達する融着部81の長さdのみを用いて合計長さD1~D3を算出する。
また、シール領域8a1における融着部81間のピッチP(長手方向に隣接する融着部それぞれの中央位置間の距離)は、0.5~4.0mm、特に0.7~3.0mmであることが好ましく、シール領域8a2,8a3における融着部81間の同ピッチP’は、1~5mm、特に1.5~4mmであることが好ましい。シール領域8a1におけるピッチは、シール領域8a1より下方の領域8a2,8a3におけるピッチP’に対する比(前者/後者)が、1~4、特に2.0~3.5であることが好ましい。
具体的には、図3(c)に示すサイドシール部8の形状に対応するように形成された凸部80を備えたエンボスロール80aと、表面がフラットなフラットロール80bとの間に、帯状のおむつ1の連続体を通し、側縁部6aと側縁部6bとを重ね合わせた重合部7の位置で、凸部80及びフラットロール80bによってエンボスすることにより、サイドシール部8を形成する。凸部80は、帯状のおむつ1の連続体の流れ方向と直交する方向と、図3(c)に示すサイドシール部8の長手方向(Y方向)とが対応するように、流れ方向と直交する方向に、シール領域8a1、シール領域8a2及びシール領域8a3それぞれの融着部81に対応する小凸部を有している。そのため、一つのサイドシール部8を一回のエンボス加工により形成することができる。
ウエスト端部領域71における融着強度は、シール領域8a1の融着強度であり、シール領域8a1の融着強度が、シール領域8a2の融着強度及びシール領域8a3の融着強度の何れよりも低いことが好ましい。
ウエスト端部領域71における融着強度を、それより下方に位置する部分72,73の融着強度よりも低くすることにより、お腹周りの周長の変動が大きく、着用時の違和感を最も感じやすいウエスト端部領域の不具合を解消することができる。
おむつ1からサイドシール部8をおむつ1の長手方向(Y方向)に沿って切り取る。この切り取りの際には、腹側部A及び背側部Bそれぞれにおける、サイドシール部8より中心線CL側に位置する部分が30mm程度含まれるようにする。
次に、切り取ったサイドシール部8をシール領域8a1、シール領域8a2及びシール領域8a3の部分で幅方向(X方向)にカットし、長手方向(Y方向)のシール部8の長さがそれぞれ5mmの、シール領域8a1のサンプル、シール領域8a2のサンプル及びシール領域8a3のサンプルを得る。
各領域のシール強度を引張試験機〔商品名 オートグラフAGS50A (株)島津製作所製〕にて測定する。この測定の際には、各サンプルにおける、サイドシール部8より中心線CL側に位置していた腹側部に由来する部分と背側部に由来する部分とを、それぞれチャックに挟んで、180度反対方向に引っ張る(T字剥離)。
その際、引張速度(チャック間距離の拡大速度)300mm/minで測定を行い、最大強度を求める。測定はn=5回行い、その平均値にてその領域の融着強度とする。尚、各領域のシール部の長さが5mm取れない場合には、5mmに近い最大の幅にて測定を行い、5mmの幅に換算することにより融着強度を求める。
サンプルのサイドシール部8を剥離させる際の剥離の進行方向は、サイドシール部8の幅方向と同方向(X方向)であるが、図4、5のように剥離の進行方向に沿って剥離強度が変化する場合、剥離強度が0.1Nに達した時点を測定開始点とし、測定開始からチャック間が5mm移動した時点で測定を終了し、その時の最大強度をもってそのサンプルの融着強度とする。
おむつ1は、上述したように、ウエスト開口部WO側の端部に、シートの積層枚数が他の領域72,73よりも多いウエスト端部領域71を有しており、ウエスト端部領域71における腹側部及び背側部それぞれのシートの積層構造が、腹側部の重合部同士間71a及び背側部の重合部71b同士間にも延在しているため、着用者のウエスト周り周囲全体に当接する部分のクッション性ないし感触が良好である。
着用時において、特に乳幼児のウエスト端部領域に相当する部位は、おむつが当接される他の部位と比較して周長が大きく、また立ち/座りといった動作および食事の前後でその周長の変化も大きいため、おむつ自体の柔らかさの影響を最も受けやすい領域であり、その領域が柔らかいことがとても重要である。また、ウエスト端部領域は介護者(母親等)がおむつをはかせる際、手を入れて広げる部位でもあるため、その領域が柔らかいことは、着用者のみならず、介護者の肌への影響(触感)をも向上できるといった利点を有する。
おむつ1においては、ウエスト端部領域が融着されて形成されたシール領域71における、長手方向の単位長さ当たりの、サイドシール部肌側端部8eにおける融着部81の合計長さD1が、該ウエスト端部領域71より下方の領域72,73が融着されて形成されたシール領域における同合計長さD2,D3よりも短くしてある。そのため、ウエスト端部領域71にある程度の融着強度を維持しながら、サイドシール部8の硬くなった部分が着用者の肌に触れることを防止することができる。そのため、装着の際や装着中に、サイドシール部が着用者に違和感を与えたり、着用者や介護者の肌への悪影響を与えることを防止することができる。
おむつ101のサイドシール部108は、このような構成を有する重合部7を融着することにより形成されている。
おむつ101におけるサイドシール部108は、腹側部A側の面に、図12(a)に示す腹側シールパターン8aを有し、腹側部B側の面に、図12(c)に示す背側シールパターン8bを有している。図12(a)と図12(c)との対比から明らかなように、腹側シールパターン8aと背側シールパターン8bとは異なっている。
他方、背側シールパターン8bは、図12(c)及び図13に示すように、サイドシール部108の長手方向(Y方向)に延びる2本の縦長凹部85からなる。2本の縦長凹部85は、幅方向(X方向)に相互に離間して配置されていると共に、何れもサイドシール部108の幅方向の両端部、特に肌側端部8eから離間して配置されている。
ここで、サイドシール部の肌側端部8eとは、サイドシール部108の幅方向(おむつ101においては該おむつ101の幅方向と同じ,X方向)における該サイドシール部108の両端部のうち、着用時に着用者の肌に近い側に位置する端部である。より具体的に言えば、サイドシール部108のX方向の両端部のうち、おむつの長手方向(腹側部Aから股下部Cを通って背側部Bに向かう方向)に延びる中心線CLに近い方の端部である。
図14に示すように、エンボスロール180aの周面に設けられたブロックの先端部には、2本の凸部80a’が、それぞれロールの軸長方向に延びて形成されている。個々の凸部80a’の先端部には、前述した横長凹部83,84に対応する形状の小凸部83’,84’〔図12(b)参照〕が、図12(a)に示す腹側シールパターン8aに対応するパターンで多数形成されている。小凸部83’,84’は、それぞれ、ロールの周方向に延びている。エンボスロール180a,180bそれぞれの軸長方向は、サイドシール部108の長手方向〔図12(a),図12(c)及び図12(d)それぞれの上下方向)に対応している。
なお、エンボスロール180aの2本の凸部80a’と、エンボスロール180bの2本の凸部80b’は、帯状のおむつ1の連続体における相隣接する2つのおむつの側縁部を同時にエンボス加工するものであり、2つのおむつの相近接する側縁部にサイドシール部が形成された後に、おむつの連続体は、その2つのサイドシール部間で切断されて個々のおむつに分離される。
また、エンボスロール180bの小凸部85’によって加圧された部分は、前述した縦長凹部85となると共に、サイドシール部108には、実質的に背側部B側の面側からのみ加圧されて側縁部6aと側縁部6bとの間が弱く接合された弱接合部92が形成される〔図12(e)及び図13参照〕。
他方、エンボスロール180aの小凸部83’又は84’と、エンボスロール180bの小凸部85’によって、腹側部A側の面及び背側部B側の面の両面側から加圧された部分は、側縁部6aと側縁部6bとの間が強く接合された強接合部93となる。強接合部93は、通常、エンボス処理により、シートの樹脂成分が溶融固化してフィルム化している。他方、弱接合部91,92は、弱い融着や、繊維同士の絡み合い等により弱く接合していることが好ましい。
なお、腹側部A側の面及び背側部B側の面の両面側から加圧された部分(強接合部93)は、腹側シールパターンの一部を構成すると同時に、腹側シールパターンの一部を構成するものとする。なお、重合部7における、小凸部83~85の何れによっても加圧されない部分は、実質的に接合されていないか、弱接合部より弱く接合されている。
しかも、第2実施形態のおむつ101においては、腹側シールパターン8aにおけるウエスト開口部側の端部領域181におけるシールパターンを、該サイドシール部108の他の領域182とは異ならせてあるため、おむつ101を履いたり履かせる際、あるいは着用中に、ウエスト開口部の周縁部を上方から、もしくは側方(肌に対して垂直な方向)から押圧するような力が加わったときでも、サイドシール部の融着部(特に強接合部93)が、着用者に違和感を与えたり、着用者や介護者等の肌を刺激したりすることが効果的に防止される。
ウエスト開口部WO側の端部に位置する端部領域181における融着強度を、それより下方に位置する領域182における融着強度よりも低くすることにより、おむつ101を履いたり履かせる際、あるいは着用中に、サイドシール部のウエスト開口部側の端部領域が、着用者に違和感を与えたり、着用者や介護者等の肌を刺激したりすることが一層効果的に防止される。
おむつ101からサイドシール部108をおむつ101の長手方向(Y方向)に沿って切り取る。この切り取りの際には、腹側部A及び背側部Bそれぞれにおける、サイドシール部108より中心線CL側に位置する部分が30mm程度含まれるようにする。
次に、切り取ったサイドシール部108を、端部領域181及び他の領域182の部分で幅方向(X方向)にカットし、長手方向(Y方向)のシール部108の長さがそれぞれ5mmの、シール領域181のサンプル及びシール領域182のサンプルを得る。
各領域のシール強度を引張試験機〔商品名 オートグラフAGS50A (株)島津製作所製〕にて測定する。この測定の際には、各サンプルにおける、サイドシール部108より中心線CL側に位置していた腹側部に由来する部分と背側部に由来する部分とを、それぞれチャックに挟んで、180度反対方向に引っ張る(T字剥離)。
その際、引張速度(チャック間距離の拡大速度)300mm/minで測定を行い、最大強度を求める。測定はn=5回行い、その平均値にてその領域の融着強度とする。尚、各領域のシール部の長さが5mm取れない場合には、5mmに近い最大の幅にて測定を行い、5mmの幅に換算することにより融着強度を求める。サンプルのサイドシール部108を剥離させる際の剥離の進行方向は、サイドシール部108の幅方向と同方向(X方向)である。
横長凹部83の配置ピッチP11は、0.5~3.0mm、特に1.0~2.5mmであることが好ましく、横長凹部84の配置ピッチP12は、1.0~5.0mm、特に2.0~4.0mmであることが好ましい。配置ピッチP11と配置ピッチP12との比(P11/P12)は、0.1~3.0、特に0.5~2.0であることが好ましい。
また、腹側シールパターン8bの縦長凹部85は、サイドシール部の幅方向の両端(横長凹部83,84のX方向の両端に同じ)からの離間距離が、1.0mm以上、特に2.0~5.0mmであることが好ましい。
一般的に重合部7を形成する部材数が多くなると、融着樹脂量がそれに伴い増加するため、その部分を強固に融着して熱による樹脂化がなされると、その部分における硬さが増大する。
本実施形態のおむつ101においては、シートの積層枚数が最大の部分のサイドシール部8における、腹側シールパターン8aのシールパターンを、それより下方に位置する部分のシールパターンとは異ならせてシールしてあるため、シートの積層枚数が多いことによるウエスト開口部の周縁部のクッション性や感触を良好にしつつ、サイドシール部による違和感や肌への刺激を効果的に防止することができる。
着用時において、特に乳幼児のウエスト端部領域に相当する部位は、おむつが当接される他の部位と比較して周長が大きく、また立ち/座りといった動作および食事の前後でその周長の変化も大きいため、おむつ自体の柔らかさの影響を最も受けやすい領域であり、その領域が柔らかいことがとても重要である。また、ウエスト端部領域は介護者(母親等)がおむつをはかせる際、手を入れて広げる部位でもあるため、その領域が柔らかいことは、着用者のみならず、介護者の肌への影響(触感)をも向上できるといった利点を有する。
更に、端部領域においてはその良好な風合い、クッション性の観点から極力接着剤を使用しないことが望ましく、その領域に存在する接着剤の量は0~10g/m2であることが好ましい。接着剤を用いない方法としては、外層シート、内層シートを弾性体の存在しない部位においてヒートシール、超音波シール等、熱によって部分的に融着させること等が挙げられる。
重合部7を構成するシート状の部材の融着成分は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン又はポリエステル等の汎用の樹脂からなることがコスト的にも好ましいが、重合部7を構成する部材の融着成分同士が同系列の成分であることが好ましい。おむつ1,108においては、重合部7を構成する部材は、外層シート61(折り返し部61aを含む)及び内層シート62(折り返し部62aを含む)である。従って、外層シート61及び内層シート62が、互いに同系列の成分であることが好ましい。外層シート61及び内層シート62を構成する融着成分がポリプロピレンの同系列の成分であるとは、例えば、ポリプロピレン単体のホモPP繊維のみから形成された不織布シート、少量のエチレン等がプロピレン連鎖中にランダムに取り込まれたランダムPP繊維のみから形成された不織布シート、ホモPP樹脂又はランダムPP樹脂を50%以上含むが、ホモPP樹脂又はランダムPP樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂(例えばポリエチレン樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂等)を混合した芯鞘型複合繊維やサイドバイサイド型複合繊維から形成された不織布シート、ホモPP繊維又はランダムPP繊維を50%以上含むが、ホモPP繊維又はランダムPP繊維以外の繊維(例えばレーヨン繊維、コットン繊維、ポリエチレン繊維、ポリエステル繊維等)を混綿した繊維から形成された不織布シート等が挙げられる。
また、重合部7のウエスト端部領域71を構成するシートの合計坪量、即ち、おむつ1においては、外層シート61及びその折り返し部61aの合計坪量(外層シート61の坪量×2)と、内層シート62及びその折り返し部62aの合計坪量(内層シート62の坪量×2)との合計が、クッション性ないし感触の向上の観点から120g/m2以上であること、特に130g/m2以上であることが好ましい。前記合計坪量の上限値は、特に制限されないが、コストの観点からは、200g/m2以下、特に180g/m2以下であることが好ましい。
また、サイドシール108の端部領域181を構成するシートの合計坪量、即ち、おむつ101においては、外層シート61及びその折り返し部61aの合計坪量(外層シート61の坪量×2)と、内層シート62及びその折り返し部62aの合計坪量(内層シート62の坪量×2)との合計は、クッション性ないし感触の向上の観点から120g/m2以上であること、特に130g/m2以上であることが好ましい。前記合計坪量の上限値は、特に制限されないが、コストの観点からは、200g/m2以下、特に180g/m2以下であることが好ましい。
内層シート62、外層シート61を各30mm×30mmの大きさに裁断し、一つのおむつから合計面積が各900mm2の測定片を採取し、この測定片の重量を最小表示1mgの電子天秤を用いて測定し坪量に換算することで求める。坪量の値は、n=5のおむつより測定片を採取した平均値である。尚、内層シート62及び外層シート61の各測定片は、サイドシール部8,108以外の部分から採取する。30mm×30mmの大きさの測定片をとることが出来ない場合は、なるべく大きな面積になるようサンプリングを行い、その面積から坪量を換算する。内層シートおよび外層シートがホットメルト等の接着剤にて接合されている場合はクロロホルム等の有機溶媒にて接着剤を洗い流した後、十分に乾燥を行い、重量の測定を行うこととする。
図8及び図9に示す実施形態によっても、ウエスト端部領域71における融着部81の前記合計長さD1を、ウエスト端部領域71より下方に位置する領域72,73における融着部81の前記合計長さD2,D3よりも短くすることによって、おむつ1におけるのと同様の効果が奏される。
また、ウエスト端部領域71の下方に、シートの積層枚数6枚の領域72及びシートの積層枚数4枚の領域73を形成するのに代えて、ウエスト端部領域71の下方に、シートの積層枚数6枚の領域72のみ、又はシートの積層枚数4枚の領域73のみを形成することもできる。
また、上述したおむつ1においては、図2及び図3に示すように、外層シート61及び内層シート62は、腹側部Aと背側部Bとにおいて対称的に折り返して折り返し部61a,61b又は62a,62bを形成しているが、腹側部A及び背側部Bにおいて、折り返すシートが異なっていても良く、折り返し部の長さが異なっていても良い。
また、端部領域181の下方に、端部領域181とはシールパターンが異なる一つの領域182を設けるのに代えて、端部領域181の下方に、端部領域181とはシールパターンが異なる2以上の領域182を設けても良い。この場合においても、端部領域181の融着強度を最大とする。
また、上述したおむつ101においては、図11に示すように、外層シート61及び内層シート62は、腹側部Aと背側部Bとにおいて対称的に折り返して折り返し部61a,61b又は62a,62bを形成しているが、腹側部A及び背側部Bにおいて、折り返すシートが異なっていても良く、折り返し部の長さが異なっていても良い。
Claims (7)
- 腹側部の両側縁部と背側部の両側縁部とを互いに重ね合わせた重合部を融着して形成された一対のサイドシール部を有するパンツ型吸収性物品であって、
前記重合部は、ウエスト開口部側の端部に、シートの積層枚数が、該重合部における他の領域よりも多いウエスト端部領域を有しており、
前記重合部のウエスト端部領域における腹側部及び背側部それぞれのシートの積層構造が、腹側部の重合部同士間及び背側部の重合部同士間にも延在しており、
前記サイドシール部は、前記ウエスト端部領域が融着されて形成されたシール領域における、長手方向の単位長さ当たりの、サイドシール部肌側端部における融着部の合計長さが、該ウエスト端部領域より下方の領域が融着されて形成されたシール領域における同合計長さよりも小さいパンツ型吸収性物品。 - 前記パンツ型吸収性物品は、表面シート及び吸収体を有する縦長の吸収性本体、及び該吸収性本体の非肌当接面側に位置して該吸収性本体を固定している外包材を備えており、
前記外包材は、前記パンツ型吸収性物品の外面をなす外層シートと、該外層シートの内面側に配されている内層シートとを有しており、
前記重合部は、前記外包材で形成されている、請求項1記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。 - 前記外層シート及び/又は前記内層シートは、前記吸収性本体の長手方向の端部より外方において該内層シート側に折り返された折り返し部を有しており、前記ウエスト端部領域は、前記重合部における、該外層シートの折り返し部及び/又は該内層シートの折り返し部を含む部分である、請求項2記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 前記サイドシール部は、前記ウエスト端部領域における融着強度が、前記ウエスト端部領域より下方に位置する部分の融着強度よりも低い請求項1~3の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 前記サイドシール部は、腹側部側の面から押圧されて形成された腹側シールパターンと、背側部側の面から押圧されて形成された背側シールパターンとを有し、腹側シールパターンと背側シールパターンとが異なっており、
前記腹側又は背側シールパターンは、前記サイドシール部のウエスト開口部側の端部領域におけるシールパターンが、該サイドシール部の他の領域と異なり、
前記サイドシール部は、前記端部領域における融着強度が、前記他の領域における融着強度よりも低い請求項1~4の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。 - 前記腹側シールパターンと前記背側シールパターンとの重なり部が、前記サイドシール部の肌側端部に存在しない、請求項5記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 前記腹側又は背側シールパターンにおける、前記他の領域とはシールパターンが異なる領域は、前記重合部の中で最もシートの積層枚数が多い部分に形成されている、請求項5又は6に記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
