Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、クライアント機器がクライアントプロファイルを生成し、サーバ機器への要求と共に、生成したクライアントプロファイルをサーバ機器に送信し、サーバ機器が、取得したクライアントプロファイルに基づいて、コンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成し、コンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報をクライアント機器に送信するネットワーク制御システムについて説明する。
図1に、本発明の実施形態1によるネットワーク制御システムの構成の一例を示す。図1において、ネットワーク制御システム10は、複数のDLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance)サーバ機器(サーバ機器X11、サーバ機器Y12)と、複数のDLNAクライアント機器(クライアント機器A13、クライアント機器B14、クライアント機器C15)と、を備える。ネットワーク制御システム10は、宅内ネットワークシステムである。DLNAとは、宅内ネットワークでのコンテンツ伝送を目的とする最も代表的な規格の1つである。DLNA規格では、サーバ機器をDMS(Digital Media Server)と呼び、クライアント機器をDMP(Digital Media Player)と呼ぶ。サーバ機器X11及びサーバ機器Y12は、コンテンツを保有する機器であり、例えばDVD(Digital Versatile Disk)レコーダ、ブルーレイディスクレコーダ、DSC(Digital Still Camera)、パーソナルコンピュータ(PC)等である。クライアント機器A13、クライアント機器B14及びクライアント機器C15は、サーバ機器から取得したコンテンツを再生する機器であり、例えばTV、PC等である。
図2に、本発明の実施形態1によるネットワーク制御システムのクライアント機器Aの構成を示す。クライアント機器A13は、通信制御部20と、プロファイル生成部21と、機器検索部22と、機器制御部23と、コンテンツ情報取得部24と、GUI生成部25と、リモコン処理部26と、画面描画部27と、を備える。
図5に、本発明の実施形態1のクライアントプロファイル取得処理におけるクライアント機器A-サーバ機器X間の処理シーケンスを示す。まず、クライアント機器A13のプロファイル生成部21は、クライアント機器A13のプロファイルを生成する(S100)。次に、クライアント機器A13の機器検索部22は、機器検索要求及びクライアント機器A13のプロファイルをマルチキャストで送信する(S101)。すなわち、宅内ネットワークシステム10内のすべての機器に送信する。
図7に、本発明の実施形態1のコンテンツ仮想ツリー生成及び表示処理におけるクライアント機器A-サーバ機器X間の処理シーケンスを示す。図5のステップS105でサーバ機器X11の機器詳細情報を受信したクライアント機器A13の機器検索部22は、受信したサーバ機器X11の機器詳細情報をGUI生成部25に出力する。GUI生成部25は、サーバ機器X11の機器詳細情報に基づいてサーバ機器リストのGUIを生成し、生成したサーバ機器リストのGUIを画面描画部27に出力する。ユーザは、リモコンを用いて、画面描画部27に表示されたサーバ機器リストから再生したいサーバ機器を選択する(S106)。リモコン処理部26がユーザからのサーバ機器選択指示を受信すると、その指示をGUI生成部25に出力する。ここでは、サーバ機器X11が選択されたとする。GUI生成部25は機器制御部23に選択されたサーバ機器がサーバ機器X11であることを出力し、機器制御部23はサーバ機器X11に、サーバ機器X11のコンテンツ情報取得要求を送信する(S107)。コンテンツ情報取得要求を受信したサーバ機器X11は、コンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成する(S108)。図8を用いて、コンテンツ仮想ツリー生成処理を詳述する。
図16は、本発明の実施形態1の変形例によるサーバ機器に格納されたコンテンツデータベースの一例である。クライアント機器B14が図3に示すプロファイルを有する場合、コンテンツ情報生成部34は、クライアント機器B14のコンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成する。図17に、変形例におけるクライアント機器Bのコンテンツ仮想ツリーの一例を示す。同様に、クライアント機器C15が図3に示すプロファイルを有する場合、コンテンツ情報生成部34は、クライアント機器C15のコンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成する。図18に、変形例におけるクライアント機器Cのコンテンツ仮想ツリーの一例を示す。図18のように、コンテンツ数が少ない場合は、仮想フォルダをまとめてもよい。
本実施形態では、サーバ機器が取得したクライアントプロファイルに基づいて、クライアントに設定されている言語と同じ言語の字幕ファイルを検索し、コンテンツの格納先URLにこの字幕ファイルの格納先URLを付加したコンテンツ情報をクライアント機器に送信するネットワーク制御システムについて説明する。
本実施形態によるネットワーク制御システムの構成は、実施形態1と同じであるため説明を省略する。

図20に、本発明の実施形態2のコンテンツ情報生成及びコンテンツ再生処理におけるクライアント機器A-サーバ機器X間の処理シーケンスを示す。図5のステップS105でサーバ機器X11の機器詳細情報を受信したクライアント機器A13の機器検索部22は、受信したサーバ機器X11の機器詳細情報をGUI生成部25に出力する。GUI生成部25は、サーバ機器の機器詳細情報に基づいてサーバ機器リストのGUIを生成し、生成したサーバ機器リストのGUIを画面描画部27に出力する。ユーザは、リモコンを用いて、画面描画部27に表示されたサーバ機器リストから再生したいサーバ機器を選択する(S106)。リモコン処理部26がユーザからのサーバ機器選択指示を受信すると、その指示をGUI生成部25に出力する。ここでは、サーバ機器X11が選択されたとする。GUI生成部25は機器制御部23に選択されたサーバ機器がサーバ機器X11であることを出力し、機器制御部23はサーバ機器X11に、サーバ機器X11のコンテンツ情報取得要求を送信する(S107)。コンテンツ情報取得要求を受信したサーバ機器X11は、コンテンツ情報を生成する(S108A)。図21を用いて、コンテンツ情報生成処理を詳述する。

Claims (12)
- サーバ機器に格納されたコンテンツを取得して再生するクライアント機器としてのネットワーク制御機器であって、
クライアントプロファイルを生成し、前記サーバ機器への要求と共に、生成した前記クライアントプロファイルを前記サーバ機器に送信するプロファイル生成部と、
前記クライアントプロファイルに対応するコンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報及びコンテンツを前記サーバ機器から受信してそのまま表示するGUI生成部と、を備えたことを特徴とするネットワーク制御機器。 - コンテンツを有し、前記コンテンツをクライアント機器に提供するサーバ機器としてのネットワーク制御機器であって、
前記クライアント機器から受信したクライアントプロファイルを解析するクライアントプロファイル解析部と、
解析された前記クライアントプロファイル及びコンテンツに基づいて、前記クライアント機器の機能や設定に適したコンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成し、前記コンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報を生成し、前記コンテンツ情報を前記クライアント機器に送信するコンテンツ情報生成部と、
生成した前記コンテンツ情報を記憶する記憶部と、を備えたことを特徴とするネットワーク制御機器。 - 前記クライアントプロファイル解析部は、前記クライアントプロファイルから、前記クライアント機器に設定されている言語を抽出し、
前記コンテンツ情報生成部は、前記クライアント機器に設定されている言語と同じ言語の仮想フォルダ名を付けた仮想フォルダを含む前記コンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のネットワーク制御機器。 - 前記クライアントプロファイル解析部は、前記クライアントプロファイルから、前記クライアント機器が再生可能なフォーマットを抽出し、
前記コンテンツ情報生成部は、前記クライアント機器が再生可能なフォーマットと同じフォーマットのコンテンツを抽出し、抽出されたコンテンツのみを含む前記コンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のネットワーク制御機器。 - 前記コンテンツ情報生成部は、コンテンツを有しない仮想フォルダを削除することを特徴とする請求項2乃至4のいずれか1つに記載のネットワーク制御機器。
- 前記コンテンツ情報生成部は、複数の仮想フォルダが有するコンテンツ数が少ない場合は、前記複数の仮想フォルダをまとめることを特徴とする請求項2乃至5のいずれか1つに記載のネットワーク制御機器。
- 字幕ファイルの字幕言語を判定する字幕言語判定部をさらに備え、
前記クライアントプロファイル解析部は、前記クライアントプロファイルから、前記クライアント機器に設定されている言語を抽出し、
前記コンテンツ情報生成部は、前記クライアント機器に設定されている言語と同じ言語の字幕ファイルの格納先を対応するコンテンツの格納先に付加した前記コンテンツ情報を生成することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のネットワーク制御機器。 - 請求項1に記載の前記クライアント機器としてのネットワーク制御機器と、
請求項2に記載の前記サーバ機器としてのネットワーク制御機器と、を含むことを特徴とするネットワーク制御システム。 - サーバ機器に格納されたコンテンツを取得して再生するクライアント機器としてのネットワーク制御機器におけるネットワーク制御方法であって、
クライアントプロファイルを生成し、前記サーバ機器への要求と共に、生成した前記クライアントプロファイルを前記サーバ機器に送信するプロファイル生成ステップと、
前記クライアントプロファイルに対応するコンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報及びコンテンツを前記サーバ機器から受信してそのまま表示するGUI生成ステップと、を含むことを特徴とするネットワーク制御方法。 - コンテンツを有し、前記コンテンツをクライアント機器に提供するサーバ機器としてのネットワーク制御機器におけるネットワーク制御方法であって、
前記クライアント機器から受信したクライアントプロファイルを解析するクライアントプロファイル解析ステップと、
解析された前記クライアントプロファイル及びコンテンツに基づいて、前記クライアント機器の機能や設定に適したコンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成し、前記コンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報を生成するコンテンツ情報生成ステップと、
生成した前記コンテンツ情報を記憶する記憶ステップと、
生成した前記コンテンツ情報を前記クライアント機器に送信するコンテンツ情報送信ステップと、を含むことを特徴とするネットワーク制御方法。 - サーバ機器に格納されたコンテンツを取得して再生するクライアント機器としてのネットワーク制御機器を制御するためのプログラムであって、
クライアントプロファイルを生成し、前記サーバ機器への要求と共に、生成した前記クライアントプロファイルを前記サーバ機器に送信するプロファイル生成ステップと、
前記クライアントプロファイルに対応するコンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報及びコンテンツを前記サーバ機器から受信してそのまま表示するGUI生成ステップと、をコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラム。 - コンテンツを有し、前記コンテンツをクライアント機器に提供するサーバ機器としてのネットワーク制御機器を制御するためのプログラムであって、
前記クライアント機器から受信したクライアントプロファイルを解析するクライアントプロファイル解析ステップと、
解析された前記クライアントプロファイル及びコンテンツに基づいて、前記クライアント機器の機能や設定に適したコンテンツ仮想ツリーを生成し、前記コンテンツ仮想ツリーを含むコンテンツ情報を生成する前記コンテンツ情報生成ステップと、
生成した前記コンテンツ情報を記憶する記憶ステップと、
生成した前記コンテンツ情報を前記クライアント機器に送信するコンテンツ情報送信ステップと、をコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラム。
