상기 컵본체(10)의 상단부에는, 상기 컬링부(12)와 상기 컵본체(10)의 상단부 외벽에 의하여 형성되는 홈부(11)가 마련되어 있다.
상기 손잡이(20)는, 사용자가 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 파지하기 위하여 마련된 것으로서, 접촉부(21)와, 고리부(22)를 구비한다.
상기 접촉부(21)는, 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착되는 부분으로서, 공지의 접착제 등에 의하여 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된다.
상기 고리부(22)는, 타원형 부재로서 한쌍이 마련되는데, 상기 접촉부(21)의 좌우 양단에 대칭적으로 형성된다.
상기 고리부(22)에는, 사용자의 손가락이 관통할 수 있는 관통공(24)이 형성되어 있다.
상기 접촉부(21)와 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)간의 경계에는, 상하방향으로 한쌍의 절곡선(23)이 형성되어 있다.
상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)는, 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착되는 제1위치(도 2에 도시된 위치)와 상기 접촉부(21)와 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)간의 경계에 형성된 절곡선(23)을 따라 절곡되어 서로 마주보게 되는 제2위치(도 3에 도시된 위치) 사이에서 위치이동 가능하다.
상기 고리부(22)의 상단에는, 돌출부(25)가 형성되어 있다. 이 돌출부(25)는, 상기 고리부(22)들이 상기 제1위치에 있는 경우에 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있도록, 상기 홈부(11)에 끼워질 수 있다. 본 실시예에서는, 상기 타원형 고리부(22)의 상단부가 상기 돌출부(25)로 기능한다.
상기 고리부(22)에는, 상기 고리부(22)의 강도를 보강하기 위하여, 상기 관통공(24)의 반경방향으로 길게 형성되어 있는 주름부(26)가 상기 관통공(24)의 원주방향으로 다수 배치되어 있다.
상기 부착수단은, 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)가 상기 제2위치에 있는 경우에 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)를 서로 부착시켜서 고정하기 위한 수단으로서, 본 실시예에서는 양면테이프(30)를 사용하고 있다.
상기 양면테이프(30)의 일면은 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22) 중 하나에 부착되어 있으며, 상기 양면테이프(30)의 타면은 나머지 고리부(22)에 접착될 수 있다. 상기 양면테이프(30)의 타면에는 그 타면의 접착력을 보호하기 위하여 분리가능한 보호막(31)이 부착되어 있다. 상기 보호막(31)은, 사용자가 상기 양면테이프(30)으로부터 벗겨내기 용이하도록, 상기 고리부(22)의 외부로 돌출된 부위를 가지고 있다.
이하에서는, 상술한 구성의 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)의 사용법의 일례에 대하여 설명하기로 한다.
상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 사용하고자 하는 경우에는, 먼저 상기 제1위치에 있는 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)의 돌출부(25)를 상기 홈부(11)로부터 당겨 빼낸다.
이렇게 상기 홈부(11)로부터 이탈된 상기 고리부(22)들을, 상기 접촉부(21)와 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)간의 경계에 형성된 절곡선(23)을 따라 절곡시켜서 서로 마주보게 되는 제2위치로 이동시킨다.
상기 양면테이프(30)의 타면에 부착되어 있는 보호막(31)을 분리시키고, 상기 양면테이프(30)의 타면을 나머지 고리부(22)에 접착시킴으로써, 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)를 서로 고정시키면, 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)의 사용준비가 완료된다.
이와 같이, 상기 양면테이프(30)에 의하여 상기 고리부(22)들을 서로 고정시키게 되면, 사용자가 상기 관통공(24)에 손가락을 관통시켜서 상기 고리부(22)를 파지하는 경우에도 상기 고리부(22)들이 서로 상대적인 운동을 하지 않기 때문에, 상기 손잡이(20)가 구조적으로 안정적인 형상을 유지하게 된다. 따라서, 종래의 종이컵(1)과 달리, 수용된 음료수가 흔들려서 흘러넘치지 않도록 손잡이(20)를 안정적으로 파지하는 것이 가능하다는 장점이 있다.
또한, 상기 주름부(26)가 상기 관통공(24)의 원주방향으로 다수 배치되어 있으므로, 상기 고리부(22)의 구조적 강도가 보강된다. 따라서, 사용자가 상기 관통공(24)에 손가락을 관통시켜서 상기 고리부(22)를 파지하는 경우에도 상기 고리부(22)가 쉽게 변형되지 않고 구조적으로 안정적인 형상을 유지하게 된다는 장점이 있다.
그리고, 상기 양면테이프(30)에 의하여 상기 고리부(22)들을 서로 고정시키게 되면, 음료수를 마시다가 잠시 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 테이블 위에 올려 놓았다가 다시 파지하는 경우에도, 상기 한쌍의 고리부(22)가 서로 벌어지지 않으므로 사용자가 편리하게 손잡이를 파지할 수 있는 장점도 있다.
한편, 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)은 상기 돌출부(25)가 상기 컵본체의 상부에 마련되는 홈부(11)에 언제든지 끼워질 수 있으므로, 상기 종이컵(100)의 사용전에 상기 고리부(22)들이 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있으며, 상기 종이컵(100)의 사용후 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 다수개 적층시키는 경우에도, 고리부(22)들이 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있으므로 종래의 종이컵(1)과 달리 상기 고리부(22)가 상기 컬링부(12)에 걸리지 않는다는 장점이 있다.
또한, 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 다수개 적층시킨 상태에서 자동판매기 내부에 수납한 후 최하층에 위치한 종이컵을 하나씩 낙하시켜서 배출하는 경우에도, 상기 돌출부(25)가 상기 홈부(11)에 끼워져 있어 상기 고리부(22)들이 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있으므로, 상기 배출되는 종이컵의 바로 위에 위치한 종이컵의 고리부(22)가 상기 배출되는 종이컵의 컵본체(10)의 내벽에 밀착되지 않는다. 따라서, 상기 적층된 종이컵(100)들간의 마찰력이 저하됨으로써, 손잡이가 부착되지 않은 종래의 종이컵과 마찬가지로 원활하게 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 하나씩 낙하시켜서 배출시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
그리고, 사용이 종료된 상기 손잡이 부착 종이컵(100)을 기존의 종이컵 수거기에 적층시켜 버리는 경우에는, 상기 양면테이프(30)로 서로 부착되어 고정된 상기 고리부(22)들을 분리시키고 상기 고리부(22)의 돌출부(25)를 상기 홈부(11)에 다시 끼워넣게 되면 상기 손잡이(20)가 종이컵 수거기에 걸리는 문제가 발생하지 않는다는 장점이 있다.
본 실시예에서는, 상기 절곡선(23)이 미리 형성되어 있으나, 다른 실시예로서 상기 절곡선(23)을 형성하지 않을 수도 있음은 물론이다. 다만 미리 상기 절곡선(23)을 형성해두면 상기 고리부(22)가 용이하게 상기 절곡선(23)을 기준으로 절곡될 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
본 실시예에서는, 상기 타원형 고리부(22)의 상단부가 상기 돌출부(25)로 기능하지만, 상기 고리부(22)가 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 더욱 잘 부착될 수 있도록, 상기 타원형 고리부(22)의 상단부에서 별도로 연장시켜 형성된 부분을 상기 돌출부(25)로 할 수 있음은 물론이다.
본 실시예에서는, 상기 돌출부(25)가 상기 홈부(11)에 끼워짐으로써 상기 고리부(22)들이 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있었으나, 소량의 접착제를 사용함으로써 상기 고리부(22)들을 상기 컵본체(10)의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정시킬 수 있음은 물론이다.
본 실시예에서는, 상기 부착수단으로서, 상기 양면테이프(30)가 사용되었으나, 상기 양면테이프(30) 이외에 공지된 다른 수단이 상기 고리부(22)들 간의 부착을 위하여 사용될 수도 있다.
이상으로 본 발명을 설명하였는데, 본 발명의 기술적 범위는 상술한 실시예에 기재된 내용으로 한정되는 것은 아니며, 해당 기술분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 수정 또는 변경된 등가의 구성은 본 발명의 기술적 사상의 범위를 벗어나지 않는 것임은 명백하다.

Claims (3)

  1. 음료수를 수용하며, 사용자가 파지하여 사용하는 종이컵에 있어서,
    상부가 개방되어 있으며, 상기 개방된 상부로부터 상기 음료수를 수용할 수 있는 통형의 컵본체;와
    상기 컵본체의 외벽에 부착되는 접촉부와, 상기 접촉부의 좌우 양단에 대칭적으로 형성되며 상기 사용자의 손가락이 관통할 수 있는 관통공이 형성되어 있는 한쌍의 고리부를 포함하는 손잡이;
    를 구비하며,
    상기 한쌍의 고리부는, 상기 컵본체의 외벽에 부착되는 제1위치와 상기 접촉부와 상기 한쌍의 고리부간의 경계에서 절곡되어 서로 마주보게 되는 제2위치 사이에서 위치이동 가능하며, 상기 한쌍의 고리부가 상기 제2위치에 있는 경우에 상기 한쌍의 고리부를 서로 부착시켜서 고정하기 위한 부착수단이 마련되어 있으며,
    상기 컵본체의 상부에 마련되는 홈부;와 상기 한쌍의 고리부의 상단에 형성되어 있는 돌출부;를 구비하며, 상기 돌출부는, 상기 고리부들이 상기 제1위치에 있는 경우에 상기 컵본체의 외벽에 부착된 상태로 고정될 수 있도록, 상기 홈부에 끼워질 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 손잡이 부착 종이컵.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 부착수단은,
    일면은 상기 한쌍의 고리부 중 하나에 부착되어 있으며, 타면은 나머지 고리부에 접착될 수 있는 양면테이프인 것을 특징으로 하는 손잡이 부착 종이컵.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 고리부에는, 상기 고리부의 강도를 보강하기 위하여, 상기 관통공의 반경방향으로 길게 형성되어 있는 주름부가 상기 관통공의 원주방향으로 다수 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 손잡이 부착 종이컵.
