Abstract
Superficie estabilizadora y de control direccional de una aeronave, comprendiendo dicha superficie un estabilizador vertical (2) y un timón de dirección (3), siendo el citado timón de dirección (3) deflectable con respecto al estabilizador vertical (2), comprendiendo además el timón de dirección (3) un perfil interior (10) que es extraíble y retráctil a través de un sistema de actuación (40) con respecto al resto de la estructura del timón de dirección (3), tal que la superficie estabilizadora y de control, en la posición de retracción del perfil interior (10) del timón de dirección (3), es una superficie aerodinámica óptima en condiciones de vuelo normales, al tiempo que se consigue el aumento de la superficie aerodinámica de control del estabilizador vertical (2) por requerimientos de controlabilidad de la aeronave a bajas velocidades de la citada aeronave y ante fuertes momentos de guiñada originados sobre la misma, en la posición en la que el perfil interior (10) del timón de dirección (3) está extraído, pudiendo además la estructura del timón de dirección (3) abrirse, tal que permita la extracción del perfil interior (10), cerrándose dicha estructura una vez que se ha extraído por completo el perfil interior (10), tal que el timón de dirección (3) forme con el perfil interior (10) extendido una estructura que conserve sus propiedades de superficie aerodinámica y continuidad de flujo.
