Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a uma técnica para aumentar a eficiência energética de sistemas de refrigeração equipados com inversor de freqϋência. A técnica, conhecida por Modulação PWM Complementar, realiza o acionamento do interruptor ativo inferior complementar àquele que havia sido previamente comandado a abrir, fazendo com que a corrente de roda-livre do inversor circule pelo canal do MOSFET ao invés da junção do diodo de roda-livre, este último sendo um caminho de maiores perdas por condução. Uma das formas de realizar a invenção e através de um método de modulação PWM complementar em um sistema de refrigeração, o sistema compreendendo um motor elétrico (10) de velocidade variável controlado por uma ponte inversora (11) acionada por um sinal em modulação PWM, a modulação PWM tendo dois estágios principais, sendo que no segundo, onde circula a corrente de roda-livre, faz-se o acionamento proposital do interruptor ativo inferior MOSFET, complementar àquele previamente comandado a abrir, de modo a reduzir as perdas por condução da corrente de roda-livre e conseqϋentemente aumentar a eficiência global do sistema de refrigeração.
