Abstract

La présente invention concerne une pompe à palettes à volume de refoulement variable, comprenant : un corps de pompe; un anneau de came présentant une section elliptique sur sa circonférence intérieure et sa circonférence extérieure de manière à former une chambre de compression dans laquelle un fluide de compression est comprimé, l'anneau de came étant logé rotatif dans le corps de pompe; un rotor qui est logé de telle sorte qu'une pluralité de palettes puissent apparaître fréquemment sur la circonférence extérieure de façon à être soumises à des rotations dans la chambre de compression de l'anneau de came et comprimer le fluide de compression; et un dispositif de commande de rotation de l'anneau de came qui vient en contact avec la circonférence extérieure de l'anneau de came et fait tourner ledit anneau de came si la pression de refoulement du fluide de compression est égale ou supérieure à sa pression de consigne et arrête la rotation dudit anneau de came si la pression de refoulement du fluide de compression est inférieure à sa pression de consigne de manière à commander les rotations de l'anneau de came. Par conséquent, la rotation et l'arrêt de la rotation de l'anneau de came sont mis en oeuvre d'après des modifications de la pression de refoulement pour obtenir des volumes de refoulement variables et améliorer l'efficacité de refoulement.
