Abstract

본 발명은 메틸렌블루 용액과 정액을 혼합하여 혼합된 정액의 변화된 색상에 의하여 육안적으로 정액의 품질(활력 및 생존성)을 간편하게 진단할 수 있는 정액 품질 진단 방법 및 정액 품질 진단 키트에 관한 것으로, 정액의 변화된 색상을 포함할 수 있는 칼라코드(기준색상표)를 이용하여 간편하게 정액의 품질을 진단하는 방법, 진단 키트 및 이 정액 품질 진단 방법을 이용한 품질 진단이 가능한 정액 세트에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 원리는 메틸렌블루(methylene blue) 용액과 정액을 혼합하였을 때 활력이 높은 신선한 정액의 경우에는 빠른 시간 내에 메틸렌블루 용액의 색상이 정자의 호흡과정에서 본래의 청색이 엷어지거나 없어지는 변화 정도에 의하여 정액의 품질을 간접적으로 진단할 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 원리를 응용하여 정액과 메틸렌블루 용액을 스트로우 내에 포장하여 사용직전에 간편하게 품질을 진단할 수 있는 정액을 제조할 수 있고, 한편 샘플정액을 스트로우 내부에 흡입시켜 메틸렌블루 용액과 반응토록 하여 간편하게 정액의 품질을 진단하는 키트 및 사용 직전 간편 품질 진단 가능 정액을 샘플정액으로 운용하여 대용량 정액에 대해서도 간편하게 품질을 진단할 수 있는 정액 세트를 제공할 수 있다.
