Claims (20)

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 변환부는 상기 제1 변환 계수에 기반하여 상기 목적 영상에 대한 제1 복호 영상을 생성하고,상기 제2 변환부는 상기 제2 변환 계수에 기반하여 상기 목적 영상에 대한 제1 복호 영상을 생성하고,상기 변환 기법 결정부는 상기 목적 영상, 상기 제1 복호 영상 및 상기 제2 복호 영상을 비교하여 상기 변환 계수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 목적 영상의 크기에 기반하여 라그랑지 승수(Lagrange Multiplier)를 계산하는 라그랑지 승수 계산부를 더 포함하고,상기 변환 기법 결정부는 상기 라그랑지 승수에 기반하여 상기 변환 계수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 각각 계산된 라그랑지 승수에 기반하여 상기 목적 영상에 대한 상기 제1 복호 영상의 율-왜곡 코스트를 측정하고, 상기 목적 영상에 대한 상기 제2 복호 영상의 율-왜곡 코스트를 계산하는 율-왜곡 코스트 계산부를 더 포함하고,상기 변환 기법 결정부는 상기 각각 계산된 율-왜곡 코스트에 기반하여 상기 변환 계수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 변환부는,상기 목적 영상을 이산 여현 변환하여 제1 영상 계수를 생성하는 이산 여현 변환부;상기 제1 영상 계수를 양자화하여 상기 제1 변환 계수를 생성하는 양자화부;상기 양자화된 제1 변환 계수에 대하여 계수 임계 연산을 수행하는 이산 여현 변환 계수 임계부;상기 계수 임계 연산 수행된 제1 변환 계수를 역양자화하는 역양자화부; 및상기 역양자화된 제1 변환 계수를 이산 여현 역변환하여 상기 목적 영상에 대한 제1 복호 영상을 생성하는 이산 여현 역변환부;를 포함하고,상기 변환 기법 결정부는 상기 제1 복호 영상에 기반하여 상기 변환 계수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2 변환부는,상기 목적 영상을 이산 정현 변환하여 제2 영상 계수를 생성하는 이산 정현 변환부;상기 제2 영상 계수를 양자화하여 상기 제2 변환 계수를 생성하는 양자화부;상기 양자화된 제2 변환 계수에 대하여 계수 임계 연산을 수행하는 이산 정현 변환 계수 임계부;상기 계수 임계 연산 수행된 제2 변환 계수를 역양자화하는 역양자화부; 및상기 역양자화된 제2 변환 계수를 이산 정현 역변환하여 상기 목적 영상에 대한 제2 복호 영상을 생성하는 이산 정현 역변환부;를 포함하고,상기 변환 기법 결정부는 상기 제2 복호 영상에 기반하여 상기 변환 계수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 목적 영상에 대한 변환 계수에 상응하는 변환 기법에 대한 정보를 저장하는 변환 기법 저장부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 변환 기법 저장부는 상기 변환 계수에 대한 부호화된 블록 패턴(CBP:Coded Block Pattern)값을 고려하여 상기 변환 기법에 대한 정보를 저장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,입력 영상에 대한 참조 영상을 참조하여 상기 입력 영상에 대한 예측 영상을 생성하고, 상기 입력 영상과 상기 예측 영상과의 차를 상기 목적 영상으로 산출하는 영상 예측부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 변환 계수에 대한 변환 기법을 판단하는 변환 기법 판단부;상기 변환 기법이 이산 여현 변환인 경우에, 이산 여현 역변환 기법을 이용하여 상기 변환 계수에 대한 복호 영상을 생성하는 제1 역변환부; 및상기 변환 기법이 이산 정현 변환인 경우에, 이산 정현 역변환 기법을 이용하여 상기 변환 계수에 대한 복호 영상을 생성하는 제2 역변환부를 포함하는 영상 복호화 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 변환 기법 판단부는 상기 변환 계수에 대한 매크로 블록 헤더에 포함된 변환 기법 정보를 이용하여 상기 변환 기법을 판단하는 영상 복호화 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 기법 정보는 상기 변환 계수에 대한 부호화된 블록 패턴 값을 고려하여 저장된 영상 복호화 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제1 역변환부는상기 변환 계수를 역양자화하는 역양자화부; 및상기 역양자화된 변환 계수를 이산 여현 역변환하여 상기 복호 영상을 생성하는 이산 정현 역변환부;를 포함하는 영상 복호화 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제2 역변환부는상기 변환 계수를 역양자화하는 역양자화부; 및상기 역양자화된 변환 계수를 이산 정현 역변환하여 상기 복호 영상을 생성하는 이산 정현 역변환부;를 포함하는 영상 복호화 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 변환 계수에 대한 참조 영상을 참조하여 상기 변환 계수에 대한 예측 영상을 생성하고, 상기 예측 영상과 상기 복호 영상에 기반하여 상기 변환 계수에 대한 복원 영상을 생성하는 영상 복원부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 복호화 장치.
- 목적 영상에 대하여 이산 여현 변환을 수행하여 제1 변환 계수를 생성하는 제1 변환부;상기 목적 영상에 대하여 이산 정현 변환을 수행하여 제2 변환 계수를 생성하는 제2 변환부; 및상기 제1 변환 계수 및 상기 제2 변환 계수 중에서 어느 한 변환 계수를 상기 목적 영상에 대한 변환 계수로 선택하는 변환 기법 결정부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제16항에 있어서,상기 선택된 변환 계수에 대한 변환 기법 정보를 상기 목적 영상에 대한 매크로 블록 헤더에 저장하는 변환 기법 저장부를 더 포함하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 변환 기법 저장부는 상기 변환 계수에 대한 부호화된 블록 패턴이 '0'인 경우에는 상기 변환 기법 정보를 저장하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
- 제16항에 있어서,입력 영상에 대한 참조 영상을 참조하여 상기 입력 영상에 대한 예측 영상을 생성하고, 상기 입력 영상과 상기 예측 영상과의 차를 상기 목적 영상으로 산출하는 영상 예측부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치.
