Abstract

A nozzle position correcting device which, when a liquid material is applied to a surface of a workpiece (708) by moving relative to each other by drive mechanisms (702, 703, 704) a nozzle (707) for discharging a liquid material and the workpiece (708) placed on a table (710), corrects the position of the nozzle.  The device is provided with adjusting sections (304, 305, 306) for adjusting the position of the nozzle relative to the drive mechanisms, and also with a positioning member (101) having a nozzle insertion hole (104) through which the nozzle is inserted and also having a contact surface (106) making contact with the tip of the nozzle inserted through the nozzle insertion hole. The position of the nozzle can be mechanically adjusted by using a simple structure without requiring special equipment such as a camera and a sensor.
