Abstract

L'invention concerne un volet de recouvrement de coussin gonflable de sécurité (1) présentant au moins un emplacement prédéfini (2) destiné à la rupture ou à la déchirure le long duquel le volet de recouvrement (1) cède lorsqu'un coussin gonflable de sécurité replié est rempli de gaz de déploiement et se dilate. A l'intérieur du volet de recouvrement (1) du coussin gonflable de sécurité se trouve un élément de séparation distinct (3) qui entraîne une diminution de la section transversale du matériau du volet de recouvrement dans la zone de l'emplacement (2) destiné à rupture ou à la déchirure. L'élément de séparation (3) est constitué d'un plastique qui ne forme pas de liaison de matière avec le volet de recouvrement (1) et il présente au moins un élément (31) de liaison par complémentarité de forme qui bloque l'élément de séparation (3) dans le volet de recouvrement (1) du coussin gonflable de sécurité.
