Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de nanonitrure de bore cubique ainsi que le nanonitrure de bore cubique ainsi obtenu. Le procédé de fabrication de nanonitrure de bore de structure cubique de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : a) compression d'une poudre de nitrure de bore pyrolytique de structure de type graphite turbostratique monomodal à une pression comprise entre 19 et 21 GPa et à température ambiante et, b) chauffage sous une pression comprise entre 19 et 21 GPa de la poudre à une température comprise entre 1447°C (1720 K) et 1547°C (1820 K) pendant moins de 2 minutes. L'invention trouve application en particulier dans le domaine des matériaux abrasifs.
