本発明は、ゲートウェイ装置に関し、特に、回線交換用のモバイル端末とIMS用のモバイル端末とを相互接続可能とするゲートウェイ装置と通信方法とプログラムに関する。
以下に本発明による関連技術の分析を与える。
前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに接続される端末から出力される多重化されたビットストリーム信号を分離して、制御信号、圧縮符号化された音声信号、圧縮符号化された映像信号のうちの少なくとも一つを取り出し、

ステップ1:ゲートウェイ装置は、前記モバイルIMSネットワークに接続される端末から出力される、SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)信号及び/又はSDP(Session Description Protocol)信号を受信する。
図1は、本発明によるゲートウェイ装置のシステム全体を示す図である。図1において、携帯端末120は、回線交換モバイルネットワークに接続される既存の端末であり、3GPP 3G324M規格による仕様に従っている。ここで、3GPP 3G324M規格は GPP TS26.111、TS26.112、TR26.911などのスペック(仕様)を参照することができる。
図3は、本発明の第2の実施形態の構成を示す図である。図3において、図1と同一要素には、同一の参照番号が付されている。図1と同じ要素は、同一の動作をするので説明は省略する。
図5は、本発明の第3の実施形態の構成を示す図である。図5には、携帯端末120とモバイルIMSネットワーク102間で双方向の接続を行なう構成が示されている。図5において、図1と同一の要素には同一の参照番号が付されている。図5において、図1と同一の要素は同一の動作を行なうので、説明は省略する。
Claims (21)
- モバイル回線交換ネットワークとモバイルIMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)ネットワークを相互接続しテレビ電話を実現するゲートウェイ装置であって、
前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに接続される端末から出力される多重化されたビットストリーム信号を分離して、制御信号、圧縮符号化された音声信号、圧縮符号化された映像信号のうちの少なくとも一つを取り出し、
前記制御信号は、MEGACO(Media Gateway Control)信号、SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)信号、SDP(Session Description Protocol)信号のうちの少なくとも一つに変換し、
前記音声信号は必要があれば変換し、
前記映像信号は必要があれば変換し、
前記音声信号及び前記映像信号をパケット化して前記IMSネットワークに送出する変換部を備える、ことを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置。 - 前記変換部は、
前記モバイルIMSネットワークに接続される端末から出力される、SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)信号及び/又はSDP(Session Description Protocol)信号を受信し、
パケット化された圧縮符号化音声信号と、パケット化された圧縮符号化映像信号のうちの少なくとも一つを受信し、

前記音声信号は必要があれば変換し、
前記映像信号は必要があれば変換し、
前記制御信号と前記音声信号と前記映像信号を多重化して前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに送出する変換部を備える、ことを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置。 - 前記変換部は、モバイル回線交換ネットワークに接続される携帯端末とモバイルIMSネットワークに接続される端末の間で能力情報が異なる場合は、ビットレート、標本化周波数、画面解像度、フレームレート、圧縮方式の能力情報のうちの少なくとも一つを変換する、ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記音声信号及び前記映像信号をパケット化するときに、それぞれ、IETF RFC3267、及びIETF RFC3016に従う、ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記パケット化された圧縮音声信号、及びパケット化された圧縮映像信号は、それぞれ、IETF RFC3267、及びIETF RFC3016に従う、ことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記変換部は、
前記制御信号、
前記音声信号について、コーデック、ビットレートと、標本化周波数のうちの少なくとも一つ、
前記映像信号について、画面解像度、ビットレート、コーデック、フレームレートのうちの少なくとも一つ、

前記制御信号を受けとり、前記制御情報をMEGACOによる制御信号に変換し、前記呼制御部に出力する制御・解析部と、
圧縮符号化された音声信号ビットストリームをパケットに格納した上で出力する第1のパケット化部と、
圧縮符号化された映像信号ビットストリームをパケットに格納した上で出力する第2のパケット化部と、
を備え、
前記呼制御部は、前記制御・解析部から前記MEGACO信号を受信し、SIP信号やSDP信号に変換して出力する、ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のゲートウェイ装置。 - 呼制御部を備え、

音声パケットを受信し圧縮符号化された音声信号ビットストリームを前記多重化部に出力する第3のパケット化部と、

前記呼制御部からの制御信号を受信し、所定の制御情報に変換し、前記多重化部に出力する制御・解析部と、

前記多重化部は、前記制御・解析部からの前記制御信号、前記第3、第4のパケット化部からの圧縮符号化ビットストリームを受け、多重化ビットストリームを生成し、前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに送出する、ことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のゲートウェイ装置。 - 呼制御部を備え、

前記制御・解析部からの制御信号、前記音声トランスコーダ、前記映像トランスコーダからの圧縮符号化された音声信号、映像信号のビットストリームを受け、多重化ビットストリームを生成し、前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに送出し、
前記制御・解析部は、前記分離・多重化部で分離された前記制御信号を受けとり、前記制御情報をMEGACOによる制御信号に変換して前記呼制御部に出力し、

前記分離・多重化部で分離された制御信号に含まれる前記モバイル回線交換ネットワークに接続する端末の能力情報と、MEGACOによる制御信号に含まれるモバイルIMSネットワークの能力情報とを照合し、
音声ストリームにおいて、コーデック、ビットレートと、標本化周波数のうち一つ以上のパラメータが一致しない場合、前記音声トランスコーダに指示を出し、変換を行なわせ、
映像ストリームにおいて、画面解像度、ビットレート、コーデック、フレームレートのうち一つ以上のパラメータが一致しない場合、前記映像トランスコーダに指示を出し変換を行なわせ、
前記音声トランスコーダは、前記制御・解析部から、トランスコーダ起動の指示と、どのパラメータを変換するかの指示を受信し、トランスコード処理を行ない、
