Abstract

L'invention concerne une section de presse et de sécherie d'une machine de formation de bande, par exemple d'une machine à paier, qui comprend: une pince de pressage (1); une courroie métallique thermoconductrice sans fin (3) et une courroie perméable aux liquides sans fin (5), agencées toutes deux de façon qu'elles passent à travers la pince de pressage (1), la courroie métallique (3) et la courroie perméable aux liquides (5) étant aptes à serrer une bande (7) entre elles dans la pince de pressage (1); des moyens de chauffage (9) aptes à chauffer la courroie métallique (3); et des moyens de séchage (11) aptes à sécher la bande (7) attachée à la courroie métallique (3) en aval de la pince de pressage (1). L'invention se rapporte en outre à un procédé associé de pressage et de séchage de bande.
