Abstract

L'invention concerne le domaine du traitement mécanique d'un matériau en feuille, en rouleau ou stratifié, en particulier des moyens de déformation mécanique sans enlèvement de matière, à savoir la construction de cylindres de gaufrage rotatif qui peuvent être utilisés dans la production de matériaux d'emballage, de papier peint, etc. Le but de l'invention est d'accélérer le processus de production d'un cylindre de gaufrage rotatif du fait que l'outil utilisé se présente sous la forme d'électrodes qui sont faciles à fabriquer et ont une durée de vie prolongée en comparaison avec des outils de coupe et un processus de gravure. Le cylindre obtenu selon l'invention comporte des parties saillantes de différentes formes qui permettent d'étendre la plage de ses fonctionnalités. Le procédé d'application d'un logo sur un cylindre de gaufrage rotatif consiste à former une surface profilée sur la surface d'ébauche d'un moule cylindrique par un processus d'électroérosion ou électrochimique réalisé à l'aide d'une électrode sur laquelle est formé un profil de logo et transférer le profil du logo sur la surface profilée du cylindre, le cylindre et l'électrode se déplaçant dans la même direction à la même vitesse linéaire. Le cylindre de gaufrage rotatif obtenu selon le procédé précité permet de garantir un haut niveau de reproduction du profil du logo lors du gaufrage grâce au fait que la forme de la surface latérale et la hauteur des parties saillantes sont définies par le profil du logo réalisé sur l'électrode et transféré sur la surface profilée du cylindre à la suite de l'usinage par électro-érosion ou usinage électrochimique.
