Abstract

본 발명은 둘 또는 그 이상의 판상형 이차전지 셀('전지셀')들이 폭 방향(세로 방향)으로 배열되어 있는 구조를 포함하고 있는 중대형 전지모듈로서, 상기 전지셀들은 전극단자들이 동일한 방향을 향하도록 배열되어 있고, 전지셀 전극단자들의 배향면 상에, 전지셀들의 전기적 연결을 위한 판상형의 전극단자 접속부재들이 전기적으로 결합되어 있으며, 상기 전극단자 접속부재들의 상면 및/또는 하면에는 접속부재 상호간의 체결을 위한 구조가 형성되어 있고, 상기 체결 구조에 결합된 절연성 체결부재는 그것의 일측 또는 양측 단부가 모듈 케이스에 의해 지지되는 구조로 이루어진 중대형 전지모듈을 제공한다.
