Claims (12)
- 液晶表示セルと、
同液晶表示セルの光学特性を改善するために同液晶表示セルに対向配置された補償セルとを備え、
補償セルは、透明板と、当該補償セルを静電容量方式のタッチパネルとしても機能させるために前記透明板に作成された同タッチパネルの透明電極群とを有していることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 前記透明板が上側透明板及び下側透明板を有する場合の請求項1記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記補償セルは、上側透明板と下側透明板との間に封入された液晶を更に有しており、
前記透明電極群が前記上側透明板及び下側透明板の内側対向面に配設されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項2記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記液晶に帯電防止剤が1%以下含有されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項2記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記上側透明板及び下側透明板に前記液晶の分子配向を一定にするためのラビング処理が各々施されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項1記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記透明電極群は、上側透明電極群と、
同上側透明電極群の周辺に作成され且つ同上側透明電極群に接続された上側引き回し配線群と、
下側透明電極群と、
同下側透明電極群の周辺に作成され且つ同下側透明電極群に接続された下側引き回し配線群とを有することを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項5記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記上側引き回し配線群及び下側引き回し配線群の少なくとも一方は、各配線群を構成する引き回し配線の抵抗値が、当該引き回し配線の長さに関係なく、他の引き回し配線の抵抗値と同程度になるように調整されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項5記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記上側透明電極群及び下側透明電極群は前記透明板に作成された透明導電膜で構成され、
前記上側引き回し配線群及び下側引き回し配線群は、前記透明板に作成された透明導電膜と、この透明導電膜に重ねられ且つ当該透明導電膜に比べて低抵抗である金属膜とを有する構成であることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 前記液晶表示セルの表示電極群が格子状に配列されている場合の請求項5記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記上側透明電極群及び下側透明電極群が、ストライプ状に配列され、
同上側透明電極群と下側透明電極群とは互いに平面位置的に直交するように配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項8記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記上側透明電極群の上側透明電極には、四角形状を有した上側検出電極が、前記下側透明電極群の下側透明電極に応じた個数で且つ前記下側透明電極に応じた間隔だけ互いに離れた位置に各々配設され、
前記下側透明電極群の下側透明電極には、四角形状を有した下側検出電極が、前記上側透明電極群の上側透明電極に応じた個数で且つ前記上側透明電極に応じた間隔だけ互いに離れた位置に各々配設されており、
当該上側検出電極及び下側検出電極の対角線が、前記上側透明電極群又は下側透明電極群の配列方向に一致し、当該上側検出電極及び下側検出電極の寸法が互いに重なり合わない程度に設定されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項8記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記補償セルの上側透明電極群及び下側透明電極群が前記液晶表示セルの表示電極群に対して平面位置的に平行ではなく傾斜した位置関係となるように配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項1記載の液晶表示素子において、
複数の前記透明電極群が格子状に配置されていること特徴とする液晶表示素子。 - 請求項3記載の液晶表示素子において、
前記帯電防止剤は4級アミンであることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。
