Definitions

  • the invention relates to a profile strip device, in particular frame profile strip device, for example for producing a revision device, with a first profile strip and a second profile strip, wherein the second profile strip engages with at least one mounting head in at least one receptacle on the first profile strip.
  • Moldings are generally used in the construction sector for enclosing or delimiting, for example, floors as dividing strips, for windows for stabilization, for the production of frames, etc.
  • profile strips are characterized by their strip character and additional profiling. It is very particularly preferred to produce frames with the aid of such profile strip devices, ie frames for covering wall, floor or ceiling openings.

Due to the inherent spring forces of the mounting head this endeavors to return to its original shape. As a result, the mounting head is jammed or wedged in the receptacle and ensures that the second profile strip is fixed to the first profile strip, in a certain position of the two strips to each other.
  • the union between the first and the second profile strip may in the simplest case be done so that the fastening head is clipped into the receptacle. With the hook leg, the second profile strip is able to engage behind, for example, a projection in or on the recording of the first profile strip in its installed position. Of course, this engaging behind can be done alternatively or additionally by the locking leg. If both head legs engage behind an associated projection in the receptacle of the first profile strip, the receptacle is equipped with respective projections which frame an insertion opening of the receptacle. Through this insertion opening of the mounting head is inserted into the receptacle and thereby elastically yielding compressed.
