図1~7は、本発明の第1の実施形態を示している。図1はおむつ1の着用状態を示した図であり、説明のためその一部を破断している。図示したように、おむつ1は吸液性のシャーシ2とバリアシート3と防漏カフ4とを含む。シャーシ2はパンツ型に形成され、横方向Xおよび縦方向Yと、身体側内面5および着衣側外面6と、前ウエスト域7、後ウエスト域8および前記前後ウエスト7,8域間に位置する股下域9を有している。シャーシ2は、内側シート11と外側シート12と、これら内外側シート11,12の間に介在する不透液性の防漏シート13とによって形成されている。
接合部16でウエスト側縁部14,15が接合されることにより、前後ウエスト域7,8で囲まれた領域にウエスト開口18が形成されるとともに、接合部16と股下域9とで囲まれた一対の脚開口19が形成されている。ウエスト開口18の周縁部に沿って複数条のウエスト弾性部材20が延び、脚開口19の周縁部に沿って複数条の脚弾性部材21が延びている。それら弾性部材20,21は、内側シート11と外側シート12との間にあり、これらシート11,12の少なくとも一方に接着剤(図示せず)を介して伸長状態で接合されている。
バリアシート3は、横方向Xに対向する両側部分30,31と両側部分30,31の間をつなぐ中間部分32とを有し、中間部分32は股下域9に位置している。両側部分30,31および中間部分32によって前後方連通部33,34を形成している。前方連通部33は、中間部分32から前ウエスト域7に向かって延びるほぼU字形であり、後方連通部34は、中間部分26から後ウエスト域8に向かって延びるほぼU字形である。前方連通部33は、両側部分30,31に位置する両内側縁35と、これら両内側縁35をつなぐ湾曲した閉鎖縁36とによって画成される。後方連通部34は両側部分30,31に位置する両内側縁37と、これら両内側縁37をつなぐ湾曲した閉鎖縁38とによって画成される。前方連通部33と後方連通部34とはその閉鎖縁36,38を形成する中間部分32によって画成されている。
接合部位43は、一般的なゴム系ホットメルト接着剤によって形成されるが、ソニックシールやヒートシール等の一般的な接合手段を用いて形成するようにしてもよい。
第1面46は、前後端部分51,52の縦方向Yに亘ってシャーシ2の内側シート11に接合され、これを固定縁部としている。この防漏カフ4にカフ弾性部材50の収縮力が作用すると、第2面47および第3面48を伸展させてバリアシート3から起立するように離間して、図2に示すような壁を形成する。第2面47および第3面48においてバリアシート3から離間する部分、すなわち接合されていない部分を自由縁部としている。
バリアシート3は、バリアシート弾性部材39の収縮力によって中間部分32を着用者の肌に接触させるように、吸液性パネル23から浮き上がる。バリアシート3には折曲部40を形成しているので、折曲部40を形成した中間部分32の横方向Xの外側では、バリアシート3が折れ曲がり中間部分32から吸液性パネル23に向かって傾斜するようになる。
また、バリアシート弾性部材39と防漏カフ4とが重なる位置においては、バリアシート弾性部材39が直接着用者の肌に接触することがなく、肌への刺激を低減することができる。
また前後方連通部33,34の二つの連通部を形成しているが、いずれか一方の連通部のみであってもよし、前後ウエスト域7,8において閉鎖されていてもよい。バリアシート3にはU字形の前後方連通部33,34を形成しているが、例えばO字形にくりぬいたシートを用いることもできる。
図8は第2の実施形態を示したものである。この実施形態ではスリット54を形成したことのみが第1の実施形態と異なり、他の構成要素は第1の実施形態と同様である。同様の構成要素については、その詳細な説明を省略する。
Claims (6)
- 縦方向および横方向と、身体側および着衣側と、前ウエスト域、後ウエスト域および前記前後ウエスト域間に位置する股下域と、前記股下域に配置される吸液構造体とを有するシャーシと、前記シャーシの前記身体側にあって前記股下域において前記シャーシから離間可能に形成されたバリアシートとを含む吸収性物品において、
前記バリアシートは、前記縦方向に延びるとともに前記横方向に対向する両側部分と、前記両側部分の間をつなぐ中間部分と、前記横方向に延びるとともに前記縦方向に対向する前後端縁と、前記縦方向に延びるとともに前記横方向に対向して伸長状態で取り付けられたバリアシート弾性部材とを含み、前記前後端縁が前記シャーシの身体側に固着され、前記吸液構造体が前記股下域から前記前後ウエスト域に湾曲することによって、前記バリアシートと前記吸液構造体との間に空隙を形成し、
前記空隙の内部に向かって排泄物を通過させることが可能であって前記両側部分および前記中間部分によって画成される連通部を形成し、
前記中間部分の前記横方向外側に位置する前記両側部分は、前記バリアシートが前記シャーシ側に向けて凸となる折曲部を備えることを特徴とする前記吸収性物品。 - 前記折曲部は、前記両側部分の一部を熱加工で溶融することによって形成される請求項1記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記折曲部は、前記両側部分の一部を前記シャーシ側に向けて凸となるように折り曲げた対向面を互いに接合することによって形成される請求項1記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記バリアシートは、前記折曲部の一部を切り取ったスリットを含む請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記バリアシートは、前記両側部分において接合部位を介して前記吸液構造体に接合され、
前記接合部位は、前記吸液構造体の前記縦方向に延びて前記横方向に対向する両側縁よりも前記横方向の内側に位置し、前記バリアシートが前記シャーシから離間したときに前記吸液構造体の前記両側縁に前記バリアシートで覆われない露出部分が形成される請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。 - 前記連通部は、前記中間部分よりも前記縦方向の前側に位置する前連通部と、前記縦方向の後側に位置する後連通部とを含み、
前記バリアシート弾性部材は、前記前後連通部に沿って取り付けられ、前記中間部分において前記横方向を二等分する縦中心線向かう凸状部を含み、
前記折曲部は、前記バリアシート弾性部材の横方向外側に位置する請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。
