Abstract

Provided are functional material-enriched fresh eggs, a method and a system for producing the same. The method and the system are designed to absorb a functional material of interest, such as calcium solution, green tea, a ginseng extract or a red ginseng extract, into fresh eggs by immersing the fresh eggs in a solution of the functional material or spraying the fresh eggs with a solution of the functional material. This method and system is economically favorable without risking breaking the fresh eggs. Also, it ensures the absorption of the functional material throughout the fresh eggs to a desired extent by repeating the immersion or spraying Enriched with the functional material in addition to the inherent nutrition, therefore, the produced fresh eggs are high in commercial value.
