Abstract

　バックライトに用いられるレンズシート１５は、互いに並設される複数の柱状レンズ１６１を備える。各柱状レンズ１６１は、一列に結合される複数のマイクロレンズ部１６２からなる。同じ柱状レンズ１６１内で隣り合うマイクロレンズ部１６２は、仮想面１６４で結合している。レンズシート１５は、複数のマイクロレンズ部１６２を含むため、正面輝度を向上できる。さらに、一列に連結されたマイクロレンズ部１６２からなる柱状レンズ１６１の長手方向の視野角を広く維持することができる。
