Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un béton polymère caractérisé principalement par les proportions suivantes : 76,5 % à 83,5% de charge, 16,0 % à 20,0 % de résine/liant, 0,2 % à 2,0 % de durcisseur et 0,2 % à 1,5 % d'accélérateur. La préparation s'effectue dans un mélangeur classique dans lequel on procède d'abord au mélange intensif de la charge et du liant, puis à l'ajout des additifs chimiques, tout en poursuivant le mélange. Le mélange est ensuite coulé dans des moules, secoué pour obtenir l'épaisseur exigée et démoulé. La durée du cycle se situe entre 6 et 120 minutes en fonction de la formulation. Le béton polymère ainsi préparé est adapté à la fabrication de matériaux de construction comme des panneaux, des briques, des piliers, des tuyaux, des pièces moulées individuelles, etc. ainsi que de biens de consommation de toutes sortes, par exemple des éléments pour le jardin, pour la cuisine et pour le bain ou bien à la fabrication d'éléments de décoration.
