Abstract

 ロールセットの組合せに容易に対応することができ、各ロールを操業上最適なポジションに設定することができるゼンジミアミルのロールポジション設定方法を提供する。  このため、下圧下装置及び下サイド圧下装置を調整することにより、所定の第1関数に基づいて下ワークロールの上面が圧延材のパスラインと一致するように、第1及び第2バッキングベアリングの各偏芯角を設定する。そして、上側のロールセットに関しては、上サイド圧下装置を調整することにより、第1関数とは異なる所定の第2関数が所定の最適状態となるように、第4バッキングベアリングの偏芯角を設定する。
