Abstract
本発明は、内燃機関の制御装置に関し、燃料改質触媒の劣化を確実に抑制することを目的とする。 EGR通路32,36と、EGRガス中に改質用燃料を噴射する改質用燃料噴射装置34と、燃料改質触媒26とを備える。燃料改質触媒26は、排気通路28を通る排気ガスの熱を受熱してEGRガスと改質用燃料とを改質反応させることにより、EGRガスおよび改質用燃料を、可燃ガスを含む改質ガスに転換する。ECU50は、運転条件急変状態であると判定した場合には、改質用燃料噴射装置34からの燃料噴射量を減量または禁止する。これにより、燃料改質触媒26への燃料付着や酸素の流入を抑制し、燃料改質触媒26での燃料の酸化反応(燃焼)を回避する。
