Abstract

 本発明は、明るい白表示、高いコントラスト、かつ耐光性に優れたフルカラー表示を簡便な部材構成で実現することができる新規な電気化学的な表示素子を提供する。この表示素子は、対向電極間に、電解質、エレクトロクロミック化合物及び一重項酸素消光速度(kq)が105以上、1010以下である化合物を含有することを特徴とする。
