Abstract

【課題】  従来のケイ酸塩系ガラスは熱拡散率が大きく、サーマルヘッドの低消費電力化が図れなかった。 【解決手段】  モル%で、P2O5を30~75%、CeO2を8~60%含む、P2O5とCeO2を主成分とするリン酸塩系ガラスは熱拡散率が小さく、0.27~0.39(mm2/秒)の範囲内である。よって、サーマルヘッドの基板に用いることにより低消費電力化が図れる。特に熱拡散率が0.31(mm2/秒)以下のリン酸塩系ガラスはサーマルヘッドの基板に好適である。また、熱膨張係数が小さいので基板に用いても変形が少なく、ガラス転移温度が高いので耐熱性に優れたサーマルヘッドとすることができる。
