Abstract

 高い摩擦係数を有し、摩擦材の総厚変化量が少なく、耐熱性(耐ヒートスポット性)に優れる湿式摩擦材を提供することを本発明の課題とする。  上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、繊維状物質を含む基材に熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた後、加熱硬化してなる湿式摩擦材において、該繊維状物質のアスペクト比が10以上であって、かつ該繊維状物質が該基材中に60~75質量%含まれる、湿式摩擦材を提供する。
