Abstract

Einrichtung zur Befeuchtung und Erhitzung eines zu reformierenden Brenngases für eine Brennstoffzellenanlage, mit einem Gehäuse (1), das einen in einem oberen Bereich gelegenen Einlass (2) und einen tiefer gelegenen Auslass (3) für das Brenngas aufweist, und mit einem Wärmetauscher (4), der innerhalb des Gehäuses angeordnet und im Gegenstrom zu dem zu befeuchtenden und zu erhitzenden Brenngas von einem die erforderliche Wärme liefernden Wärmeträger von unten nach oben durchströmbar ist, und mit einer Einrichtung zur Zuführung von für das Befeuchten des Brenngases vorgesehenem Wasser. Die Einrichtung zur Zuführung des für das Befeuchten vorgesehenen Wassers umfasst einen im unteren Bereich des Gehäuses angeordneten Raum (5), in welchem das Wasser mit einem unteren Bereich des Wärmetauschers zur Erhitzung in thermischem Kontakt steht, und einen von dem Raum nach oben führenden Dampfströmungsweg (6) zum Transport von in dem Raum verdampften Wasser zum oberen Bereich des Gehäuses.
