Abstract

 内燃機関の排気還流装置において、サイクロン式捕集装置における圧力損失を低減する技術を提供する。  ターボチャージャ5と、低圧EGR通路31と、低圧EGR通路31に配置され低圧EGRガス中の異物を捕集するサイクロン式捕集装置11と、サイクロン式捕集装置11の異物捕集部から低圧EGR通路31との接続部位よりも下流の排気通路4へ低圧EGRガスを流出させる流量調整路12と、流量調整路12に配置され流量調整路12を流通する低圧EGRガス流量を調整する流量調整弁13と、低圧EGR通路31を流通する低圧EGRガスがサイクロン式捕集装置11を通過する際の圧力損失に応じて流量調整弁13を開閉制御するECU14と、を備える。
