Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise of a high-speed rotary electric machine, by balancing in rotational direction of a rotor to decrease a rapid change in surface shape. CONSTITUTION:A balance wheel 1 fixes a sectionally pedestal-shaped balance weight 7 engaged in a sectionally pedestal-shaped recession (b) dug along the outer circle on the longitudinal plane. A screw 8 tightens the wheel 1. The whole area of an exposed groove (b) and a cut (c) is filled with material extremely lower in specific gravity than the weight 7 like a resin 9 besides tightening the balance weight 7. The wheel 1 plane is formed smoothly with neither projection nor recession. This protects the noise at high-speed rotation with no rapid change in surface shape in rotational direction at a balance correction.
