Abstract

 外部からのノイズの影響や電気信号の不足に起因する不具合を防止して適切に高分解能の検出精度を実現すること。第1から第4のGMR素子を有するブリッジ回路(20)と、ブリッジ回路(20)に対向配置される磁石の移動に伴って生じる第1、第2出力端子の出力信号の差動量を検出する差動増幅器(30)と、検出された差動量を絶対値変換する絶対値変換器(40)とを備え、第1のGMR素子を分割した素子部分と第3のGMR素子を分割した素子部分と交互に一列に配置して第1GMRユニットとする一方、第2のGMR素子を分割した素子部分と第4のGMR素子を分割した素子部分と交互に一列に配置して第2GMRユニットとし、第1及び第2GMRユニットを磁石の移動方向と直交する方向に並べて配置したことを特徴とする。
