Abstract

 磁場配向を利用した簡便な方法でありながら、磁気特性を向上させることができる磁性シートの製造方法を提供する。  磁性シートを製造するにあたっては、少なくとも扁平形状の軟磁性粉末と溶媒に溶解したバインダーとを混合して作製された磁性組成物を所定の基材上に塗布する塗布工程と、この塗布工程にて基材上に塗布した磁性組成物に流動性のある時間内に、磁性粉末が塗工物の面に対して垂直方向に起立するように当該塗工物に磁場を印加する磁場印加工程と、この磁場印加工程にて磁場が印加された塗工物を、実質的に無磁場の状態で、少なくとも垂直方向に起立した磁性粉末が当該塗工物の面と平行な水平方向に倒れるまでの所定時間だけ静置させる磁場解除工程と、塗工物を静置させた所定時間経過後に磁性組成物を乾燥して磁性シートを形成する乾燥工程とを備える。
