Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide a waterproof and snow-proof ventilation louver which achieves not only high waterproof performance and water drainage performance while achieving sufficient ventilation performance but also has reliable waterproof and snow-proof performance for rain water and snow blowing up from below. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A vertical blade (7) is formed such that a cross-section of a frame (2) taken in the width direction (inside-outside direction) is substantially V shaped, and first and second arcuate surfaces (8, 9) bent in different directions are interconnected at the boundary which is the bend point (7a) at which the vertical blade (7) is bent. An opening (18a) for draining entered rain water is provided in the bottom of the louver, and a water drainage tilt surface (19) tilting downward from the inside toward the outside of the waterproof and snow-proof ventilation louver (1) is formed below the opening (18a). Further, a skirt portion (20) is fixed to cover the front face of the lower end of the louver (1) from the lower end of a horizontal blade (3), and a water drain opening (21) is formed between the skirt portion (20) and the water drainage tilt surface (19).
