Abstract

 温度差がある流体から効率良く熱電変換(発電)することができ、メンテナンスが容易で、必要スペースが小さく、従来装置よりも安価で安定した電力供給を行い得る熱電発電装置及び該熱電発電装置を用いた発電システムを提供する。  P型熱電半導体素子とN型熱電半導体素子とを交互に並設した熱電素子27を、電極び絶縁体を介して挟持するよう伝熱プレート30内に封入することにより、プレート状熱電発電ユニット31を形成して複数枚積層し、これらの間に、高温流体Wが流通する第一空間32と、低温流体Cが流通する第二空間33とを交互に形成し、各プレート状熱電発電ユニット31に形成された開口を連ねて、第一空間32に対し高温流体Wを流入出させる第一流入路34と第一流出路35とを形成すると共に、第二空間33に対し低温流体Cを流入出させる第二流入路と第二流出路とを形成する。
