Abstract

 中心に位置するコア部と、前記コア部の外周に位置し、前記コア部の周囲に層状に形成された空孔を有するクラッド部と、を備え、前記空孔は、三角格子を形成するように配置され、該空孔の孔径をd[μm]、該三角格子の格子定数をΛ[μm]とすると、Λは2~5μmであるとともに、d/Λは、0.3~0.75の範囲内において、波長1050nmにおける波長分散値が-10~10ps/nm/kmとなる値である。これによって、1.0μm波長帯における長距離光伝送用の光伝送路として適するホーリーファイバを提供する。
