Abstract

 樹脂及びこれを溶解する溶剤を含有し固形粒子を実質的に含有しないインクからなる液滴をインクジェット法により基板23上に印刷し、基板23上の液滴から溶剤を除去して、基板23上の所定の位置に配されたスペーサ11を形成させる液晶表示装置用スペーサの製造方法であって、インクの25°Cにおける表面張力をXmN/N、基板23の25°Cにおける表面自由エネルギーをYmJ/m2としたときに、下記式(1)におけるAが-10~15mJ/m2である製造方法である。    A=X-Y    (1)
