Abstract

 バッテリー(3)の外れに起因するシステム異常を未然に防止する充電回路(11)。充電回路(11)は、充電電圧を検出して定電圧充電動作を行う定電圧充電制御部(8,7)と、充電電流を検出して定電流充電動作を行う定電流充電制御部(6,7)と、充電電圧が満充電電圧に達してから、充電電流が充電終了電流まで減少するまでの間、定電圧充電動作を行うように定電圧充電制御部を制御する制御部(12,13)とを含む。制御部(12,13)は、定電圧充電動作時にバッテリー(3)の充電を停止し、充電回路(11)にバッテリー(3)が接続されているか否かを該充電停止時における充電電圧に基づいて検出する。
