Abstract

 カーカスの折り返し端をベルト層に挟み込んだ構造の耐久性と操縦安定性の高いタイヤを、特別超幅広のカーカス材を用意することなく、既存サイズのカーカス材を使用して容易に生産可能にした空気入りラジアルタイヤを提供する。  2層のカーカスA,Bをトレッド部1から左右のサイドウォール部2を経てビード部3に至らせ、その両端を左右のビードコア4,4の周りにタイヤ内側から外側に折り返し、カーカスA,Bの外周側にベルト層6を配置し、カーカスA,Bのタイヤ幅方向の全幅を実質的に同一長さにすると共に、タイヤ幅方向に互いに逆方向にオフセットさせ、カーカスA,Bの両端部の左右のビードコア4からの折り返し長さを互いに異ならせ、その折り返し長さが短い方をビードコア4の近傍で終端させ、折り返し長さが長い方を前記ベルト層端部6eのタイヤ幅方向内側まで延長させて終端させたことを特徴とする。
