Abstract

A plurality of capacitors (C1b, C2b) store carriers allocated to semiconductor regions (FD1, FD2), respectively. Comparators (COMP1, COMP2) and a logical product circuit (AND), which serve as a determining means, determines whether all of values (output voltages VOUT1 and VOUT2) corresponding to the respective charge amounts of the carriers stored in the capacitors (C1b, C2b) have exceeded a threshold value (Vth). If the determining means provides an indication to the effect that all of the values (output voltages VOUT1 and VOUT2) corresponding to the respective charge amounts of the carriers stored in the capacitors (C1b, C2b) have exceeded the threshold value (Vth), then switches (SW1a, SW2a) and charge-drawing capacitors (C1a, C2a), which serve as a subtracting means, subtract certain charge amounts from those of the carriers stored in the capacitors (C1b, C2b), respectively.
