Abstract

 本発明の磁気ディスク装置は、記録層のあるデータトラックと、記録層のないグルーブとが円板の半径方向に交互に配置されたパターンド媒体を用いている。そして、ライトヘッドの頭が傾く側のヘッドエッジ部分を、そのライトヘッドの頭が傾く側のグルーブに収める、または、略収めるようにライトヘッドのヘッドセンター位置を補正する補正部を備える。
