Abstract

 光制御シートは、光源を有する面光源装置に設けられ、光源から発せられた光の進行方向を制御する光制御シートである。光制御シートは、基材層と、基材層の出光側に並べられた複数の単位レンズを有するレンズ層と、基材層の入光側に設けられた光選択層であって、光を透過する複数の光透過部と光を反射する複数の反射部とを有する光選択層と、光選択層の入光側に設けられた支持層と、を備える。各光透過部は、シート面の法線方向において各単位レンズの頂部に対向する位置を含む領域に設けられている。光反射部は、光透過部と交互に設けられている。基材層は、当該基材層に入射する光のうち、特定の偏光状態の光を透過し、前記特定の偏光状態以外の偏光状態の光を反射する偏光光学要素である。
