Abstract

 繰り返し書き換えを行っても良好な画像特性を保持する情報表示用パネルおよびそれに用いる表示媒体用粒子を提供する。  帯電した表示媒体用粒子を含む少なくとも1種類の表示媒体を少なくとも一方が透明な2枚の基板間空間に封入し、電界形成手段によって表示媒体に静電気力を作用させて動かし、画像を表示することができる情報表示用パネルにおいて、母粒子と子粒子と微粒子とからなる表示媒体用粒子であって、三次元架橋構造の分子構造を有しない前記母粒子よりも粒子径が小さく、三次元架橋構造の分子構造を有する前記子粒子を、前記母粒子の表面に埋め込むことにより、母粒子の表面を硬質化することができ、その後、前記子粒子を埋め込んだ前記母粒子に、前記子粒子よりも粒子径が小さい前記微粒子を付着させることにより、微粒子が母粒子表面に埋没することを抑制できる。
