Abstract

 打撃シリンダ(7)とシリンダヘッド(10)との間に可動スリーブ(11)が設けられる。可動スリーブ(11)の内側の燃焼室(5)は、可動スリーブ(11)を作動することによって開閉される。可動スリーブ(11)の内側に筒状の隔壁部(14)が設けられる。可動スリーブ(11)と隔壁部(14)との間に環状空間部(15)が形成される。燃焼室(5)内の空気と燃焼ガスとの混合ガスは、下部開口部から環状空間部(15)、さらに上部開口部(16)から燃焼室(5)内に循環されて、撹拌混合される。可動スリーブ(11)と隔壁部(14)との間には、環状空間部(15)から上部開口部(16)への燃焼ガスの流れを阻害する邪魔壁(23a)が設けられる。
