Abstract

　不揮発性記憶装置はコントローラと不揮発性メモリからなり、コントローラは、ホスト装置から指定される論理アドレスを物理アドレスに変換する論理物理アドレス変換部と、ホスト装置から指定されるブートコードアドレス情報を物理アドレスに変換するブートコードアドレス変換部を備える。電源投入後に論理物理アドレス変換部が使用可能になる前に、ホスト装置から論理アドレスを指定することでアクセス可能な領域の一部分の領域から、外部からブートコードアドレス情報を指定することでブートコードを読み出す。これにより電源投入後に不揮発性記憶システムの起動を早く行うことができる。論理物理アドレス変換部が使用可能な状態では、ホスト装置から論理アドレスを指定することでデータの読み出し・書き込みを行う。
