Abstract

　ガスの流れ方向に対して直列に複数配列された圧縮手段によってガスを圧縮するガス圧縮装置において、需要先のガスの需要量に応じてガス圧縮部に吸入するガスの流量を制御し、各圧縮手段の流量がサージング限界に基づいて設定される設定値を下回る場合に、ガス圧縮部から排出されたガスの少なくとも一部を、圧縮手段のディフューザに循環供給する。このため、圧縮手段におけるサージングの発生を抑制しつつ駆動手段の負荷を十分に低減させることができ、エネルギの消費量を低減させることができる。
